So, I think we can all agree that Spiral Knights has a pretty great soundtrack, but what about video game music from other games?

Perhaps it's memorable to you because of the moment it occurs in the story, or perhaps it just gets you pumped; is it atmospheric, or just plain relaxing? Whatever your reason, share it here! (a short explanation coupled with a link would be good)

Bioshock - The Ocean on his Shoulders
This piece gives me shivers every time I hear it. There's a lot of emotion put into the strings, and it really gives you this sense of hopelessness.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Final Boss
I know the word is very much overused nowadays, but this song feels epic. Perfectly matches the scope of the whole game and makes me want to get in a fight with a titan.

Starbound - all the peaceful planet music

Of all the peaceful game music I have heard, Starbound's music is definitly the best there is. It really fits in, just peacefully roaming around a planet, I just, really don't know. It's good, ok? Good until you encounter a hostile monster who ruins it with unfitting music

Do I really have to explain this one? Too bad Bowser decided to steal the spot light...

Apatos- Day from Sonic Unleashed
I use it as my alarm to get up in the morning, and I'm learning how to play this on the viola. Trust me, it IS possible.

Speed Highway (Act 2) from Sonic Generations
Best song in both Generations AND SADX. I chose this version over the original since this version feels less MIDI-ish.

Meta Knight's Theme from Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Nothing feels better than this when rofl stomping Sonic with Mario.

City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2
Cue the part where I am forced to not sing along in the Spongebob movie.

Purple Coin Theme from Super Mario Galaxy
This song gets me tensified for jumping over Luigi's legs.

This came out of the blue and it blew me away.

Jet Set Radio: Miller Ball Breakers
Loved this when it came on. Crusin' around spraying graffiti.

R-Type Final: Creature System
Best thing to listen to when blowing up weird mercury things.

Iridion II: My World
Underwater aliens and pop songs.

Phantasy Star Online III: Tower of Caelum
As soon as the platform rises out the tower, everything was beautiful.

Like seriously, I'm ready to go snowboarding right now with this on full volume.

Pyramid Cave from Sonic Adventure 2
I feel like Sonic and the Secret Rings had some pretty rusty music when I think of this music.

Circus Park from Shadow the Hedgehog, and Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg (Act 1)
I am waiting for the day that someone makes a remix out of both of these two songs.

Wario Land 3, 4, and Shake It

Wario Land 3, 4, and Shake It have some great music.

La-Mulana has some pretty good tracks too.

Metroid, most of the 3d Mario games, and lots more Nintendo stuff is always good, too. Listing those is almost cheating, but hey.

I hated that ghost. Made getting a gold crown in that level a lot more frustrating than it should have been, since even the small coins from the boxes counted.

Let's not forget Toy Block Tower or the Big Board.

Big Board was a pretty good level. I need to find my GBA and play through it again... I never played any of the other Wario games - were they any good?

I don't know about scary, but Doodle Woods is probably the most frustrating level in the game. The child's-art-book level design, the carefree music, and that stupid artist pig that spawned enemies that didn't even give anything were a pretty obnoxious combination.

At least Fiery Cavern had good music and design to make up for how difficult it was the first time around.

Radical Train (the Chase) from Sonic 06
I feel like this music fits the theme really well for a train stage.

Also the worst song in Sonic Generations is City Escape Act 1. Dupstep must be stopped.

I know someone already mentioned this piece, but did anyone know that it's been covered by the London Philharmonic Orchestra? The album's pretty good and you can find the entire thing on youtube, I'd highly recommend it.

No Sonic pieces in the first volume though (sorry U77654).

I got a line up thats pretty decent.

There should be entry themes allowed for each player so when you pop in a certain theme plays that identifies you solely. Kinda like WWF when someone jumps in while your getting owned and people cheer. In the cheer case it would be players oh so glad your there. I tend to stop most enemy mobs in their tracks and /shout Things while doing it.

Haunted Areas with lots of skeletons and evil activity you can fight . Castlevania Sympjony of the Night - Prologue

When your entire party is pushing up daisies (aka dead) = Lacuna Coil -Stars

Those levels where you have to rescue NPC knights and walk into mob/boss fights. = Aliens - Bishops countdown (action part ends and calming end of song begins when all enemies are defeated.)

Level leading up to Vanderduke= (Mortal kombat) Fear Factory -Remix Scorpion fight

The massively you are about to get jumped by enemy waves theme!! (inspired from me getting whopped by an enemy thwack hammer and dazed for 3 seconds.. And when a close 3 star knight got dropped it got serious. I had to own or lose respect. = The Matrix Reloaded OST: Burly Brawl HD

The minor enemy challenges = Chrono Trigger OST 18 - Boss Battle 1

Snorlax Boss = Super Metroid Music - Hostile Incoming

1st phase Vanderduke Boss theme = Darkstalkers (Arcade) - Pyron's Theme (Extended)
2nd Phase Vanderduke Boss theme = Contra Hard Corps. -Last Springsteen

Town areas of complete splendor = Legend - Cottage

The Hall of Heroes = At the Altar of the Dreaming Gods (Epilogue)" – 2:29

Jelly king Soundtrack = Gladiator Soundtrack & moves to 4:47 part after you cross threshold to fight then loops at 5:13-5:36 plays at 5:40 when death strike is struck. -"Am I not Merciful" (he is a king ya know. and it is his sovereign that you are trying to disrupt)
