Xindao twirls about. "Sono, the trees! Trap it under the trees!" he yells, "Cut them down!"
He runs at the bell, jumping and flipping, grabbing it in flight. He shoves it in Lake's arms. "You, boy. Follow the others near the Snarbolax." he whispers, "Ring this when it gets close. Thank you." He turns around and faces Freya. "You. The vampire." He sneers down at her. "What can you expect to accomplish? You're just another Valkyrie, and your race is near-dead. What makes you so special so as to live?"
He brandishes his flickering gavel. "You killed them with the same intention as a vulture. You stayed and waited for them to die, and you fed off their blood." His shadow's height lengthened. "You're just as bad as the darkness you claim to fight. But what was it really for? Salvaging your meals. You despicable creature...." his voice quiets. The grass sways in his direction, and something about the air whispers of the world rotting. Bugs light and flicker in the distance of the treeline. "Your salvation is nonexistent, and your love is only for that which your tongue can taste. You fed yourself with Theo's tears...and you stood by while Seatus ripped your citizens to shreds. You even bathed in Kirito's hatred for lack of your own. You're just a parasite...needing and wanting..."
His gavel flickers evermore, and the wind gets more violent. Something to really be worried about was just beyond the trees, sending off a smoking flare that she was here. "Freya, you're the reason this world decomposes as it does." A crack of thunder, and things out of sight get blurry, and only she and him stand. He smiles the happy way Xindao used to, like he was just happy to exist because he was doing it for everyone else.
You thirst and hunger for a taste of your own
And never cease to seek for more interesting food
The flesh of your kin lay on your dinner plate
Your only children's blood in your wine bottles
Sono dodged spikes flying at him. Looking back once he hit the treeline, he saw a pillar of smoke rise from the lift entrance. He shot his Doragon at Snarble, where one of three things may happen: the blade bounces off his hide; the blade tip gets lodged into the shadow hide only; or he could miss entirely.
