Tros floated overhead, watching the great serpent fall. "By it's own power, of all things...." He flew over to the ring of Medics, coming down to a stop just above them, just barely in Blesse's view. "If only you were here, Sono..." He let out a slight chuckle, then stopped himself. "Then again, you have to protect Renao's body, on top of your current mental state."

Sono waited for the lift to stop, his Gokai recovered. Renao was strapped to his back so she wouldn't fall off while he was in combat, the Doragon covering her vital areas. This limited his mobility to basic acrobatic skills, yet he didn't care.
Stepping off at his stop, the first thing he sees is Anguis' lifeless corpse, a fang jammed into it's eye and several more missing from it's mouth. Pass that was Jorik. Not wanting to shock him, Sono casually walked towards the leftover fires in the distance, coming closer and closer to him.
Jorik jumped off the elevator onto the ash ridden remains of the smoldering Wild woods. The Morai looked to his sides, trying to grasp a sense of direction which he should take next. The Valkyrie had been here, along with some Spiral whelps. It had been a quite a few hours at least, as he studied the footsteps in the ash with his hand. The dust began to rumble as cracks began to form beneath him in the ground's surface. Jorik ju,ped back in response as a serpent emerged in aggression. To his suprise, the beast spoke in a tongue he could understand.
"You are like them, the burners, the slayers, I shall feast on you here, Go now, say prayers".
The Morai smirked as he pulled out his large axe from his back. He balanced the weapon on his shoulders as he gave a swift reply to the aggrivated serpent.
"I pray to none, and head no words from an overgrown earth worm, beast".
Anguis shot forward in disgust, aiming toward the chest of the disrespectful morai. Jorik stood his ground, catching the head & base of his axe between the roof & base of Anguis' mouth. Acting like a car-jack, the weapon held the beast's mouth open as it began to struggle free of the axe's hold. Jorik took advantage of its panic, and unsheathed a throwing axe from his side. He threw the axe toward the eye of the beast, only to have it rebound off of a nearby scale. The enraged serpent shot toward the clad Morai. Jorik waited for the right moment until he leapt atop the head of the serpent, grasping its upper jaw with his left hand.
While Anguis tried desperately to right itself from the axe and its un-intended passenger, Jorik wrenched a fang from the great beast, and used it to repeatedly stab the eyes of the beast. Anguis shook less & less as its own potent venom began to work on itself. The serpent eventually fell to the ground, kicking up a large cloud of ash.
Jorik jumped off, walking up to the head of the beast. With a great heave, the Morai Hunter wrenched his axe free of Anguis' mouth, along with some fleeting snake flesh. He took out a carving knife, and began to harvest the scales of the beast, along with some teeth to make up for some venomous knife substitues. The Hunter would soon embark on his trail once more, to find the Spirals he had been tracking for a while. Then he may find a few more notable heads to add to his wall, in place of the serpent's here, too big to carry.
