Huh.
You get people like me that don't like LD to begin with but want the recipes/trinks from the rewards. [And blast network is few and far between matches.]
I ended up trolling all the damage braggers with poison so that their score was half of what it normally is or spamming shard bombs defending points. Sad part is I only have my heart trinkets and enough krogmo coins for 1 recipe line (in prep for gunner update). I got 8 boosters ready for next time I decide I want a recipe so the torture is less. (I even bought SS from one of the supply depot sales.)
Some others decide to be utterly useless for their team.
I reported plenty of players for not playing LD as it was intended to. 1v1? Both got reported by me [after a warning during the match - none that I warned stopped 1v1ing]. I'm fairly sure they reported me back. I never got a temp ban, but also don't know if they did as well - I don't interject myself with that part of the community.

Not only is this burden to LD a coin stealer, but he's a troll. He loves to get on people's nerves by doing this. The fact that he can't stand up to the LD community about this further proves the point, moreso selfishness aswell.

I played for 3 games with the guy I and yeah, It pretty much ruins the game. Not like OOO will do anything about it cause it does still sink crowns but the game for everybody else is ruined.As the guy stated he can get away with it so all you can do is avoid him or any other person who does that.

Actually this was a pretty big issue back when the coliseum was still new, especially in Blast Network, and they tweaked how it grants coins based on performance (like whether or not you placed a bomb or not, not sure how/if any changes were done in Lockdown). I'm sure that if this becomes a big enough issue they'll do something about it.
that said, what a poop thing to do to people. I have been putting off LD because I'm not very good at it and didn't wanna pull down the team, lol. Looks like this has been misplaced anxiety.

#1 If we can make rooms for LD and there would be a host, Then we can control who leaves and who stays.

I have not encountered
I have not encountered anybody just idling recently aside from one GvG match where a guildmate of mine did... and that was because somebody on the other team left the game. He did it so the teams would be even still.
What I find much more annoying and out of the spirit of any game is spawn camping and massive Polaris spam. Yay! We took all the control points, now lets make it so the other team can't even leave their base to guarantee we win... that sound fun right? Those 2 complaints are regardless of whether I'm on the winning or losing team. I find it declasse either way.

Last night. Literally idled three quarters of the game last night, just enough to get his krogmo. Drove me nuts. Have a screenshot, will PM to a GM of exceeds if they want it/care. No naming and shaming, so not posting here.

besides his stats outweigh yours and i agree to #2 - the timbalero that we all know is way above average. enough to win a 3v6 with averages..
and the teams are random too, hes sometimes on ur team sometimes not
the really terrible people are the ones, who perform badly when put in your team and go all try hard, when in opposite team..but teammember is not like that! he just plays like he wants and always has a good seat too

This isn't a new thing, really.
They tend to be people who are just raising KCoins for a recipe or item. Unfortunately, they're there, get their coins, and then you never see them again.
When BN was new, you had people idling with autoclickers and macros. After things were done to punish those players, it turned into people who just go AFK or 'pacifist' or whatever - either way, they have a goal and they don't really care about the regular gameplay. Can't really do anything about them.
The only thing that bothers me about this is that he's putting on this "holier-than-thou" air at the expense of other people's enjoyment (reading it, it looks like they lost a game for a bombhead).

1. I don't determine the punishment. That's not how reporting works. If it does, the bone you have to pick is with OOO. Here is what the ToS has to say on the subject: "When a report is received about a knight who is behaving badly, a Game Master will resolve the situation as they deem appropriate for the good of the community."
2. I make full use of the "go solo", "kick player", and "ignore" functions in PvE. I'm completely fine with people whom I don't like playing. I just don't want to play with them - And that is okay with me.
3. If skipping monsters in the clockworks was not intended as a possible strategy, why are there locking gates for only certain areas?
4. If playing as two characters was not intended, why isn't it explicitly forbidden in the ToS?

It seems like blatant criticism is always taken as a personal attack by someone, who goes ahead and shoves the terms of service in our faces but only to assist their point.
The terms of service isn't a book of morals. It's a guideline for fairness. Players who don't play the game your way simply have different playstyles. The terms of service state that exploits and cheats/hacks are a bannable offense. Playing lockdown in an unintended way, but while not breaking any rules, isn't something all that report-worthy. That is similar to how many firestorm citadel parties kick players who don't have a blitz needle - it's completely unnecessary.
Now if those same people are throwing insults left and right, please, report them.

Fair enough. I don't normally attack posters and keep it to the claims, but your post does draw an image of yourself being a killjoy. LD is just torture, so if you EVER have to be in it, might as well troll people and try to get them banned. I mean from the sound of it, you wouldn't even have had fun in the first place. /judge
I've seen someone get banned after just saying his brother (or someone else) was on his account and got himself reported for it by a vigilant troll ;c. Sure, in that case, it was explicitly against the TOS, but by doing that for something petty like people trying to 1v1, it's kind of like calling the police for an argument over proper chopstick use.

Serves them right.

Besides, if you hate their 1v1 so much, hop in, and it becomes a 2v1, and we all know that team brawls are well within the legal boundaries as posted in the Code of Lockdown §6.9.

There is no point enforcing any rules in Lockdown until there is any incentive to play the objective. If the only thing I'm losing is 200 crowns maximum, I could care less what anyone on either team does. The only reason I play LD is to have fun, win or lose.
Example situation:
Player 1: "cap"
Me: "nah"
Me: "why?"
Player 1: "so we can win"
Me: "why do we want to win?"
Player 1:
What would you answer? For 80 crowns? For two Krogmo coins? If you want to make me care about the objective, give me a reason to win. If you're not going to do that, make a TDM gamemode for the people who don't care.

it all depends on how sporting your overall lobby is, but usually if i notice someone consistently doing that while they're on the other team, i either switch to something that's a bit more loose in terms of killing things, or just walk around killing bushes. can't always guarantee other people are gonna do that, but again, LD as a community is hardly sporting in most cases, let alone enjoyable to play considering the hype over damage etc etc
as far as people 1v1'ing go, why bother reporting it when you can just... crash it? eventually everyone gets tired of it being ruined and leaves to what they hope to be greener pastures; i mean realistically they always say what point they're playing on and even if they don't, you can just follow the person on your team doing it around until they meet up with the other player, and then ruin it accordingly

The guy didn't deserve my carry* anyway so I decided to screenshot and post in the forums while the game was going.
@vishno. The game wasn't for a bombhead, Ive played enough lockdown to get all of the bombheads except toxic, shock, and freeze and if I wanted those I could just buy one off the AH whenever OOO puts them up on bids.
(even if it was for a bombhead I knew that the losing team doesn't get one)
Aren't you wasting crowns going into each match?
