What would your reaction be if... SK was gone.....
I would be so sad.... i would spend the rest of my life writing books about SK xD hehehe
What would your reaction be if...
I spend money on this game. If that money is suddenly removed from existence because a game shutdown, I'd sue to get it back. Unless I was given a refund, but that wouldn't happen.
Edit: @Klipik-Forum: Hey, who ever said I'd sue OOO? I have made it my life goal to sue at least one person in my life time. Why not when SK shuts down and I want a bit of money back from some thug I see walking down the street who just so happens to be carrying a chipped baseball bat while I stand at my perfectly fine window with my own bat?
Titanfall... obsessively play Titanfall. Maybe I would get back into LOTRO... 'ol Treehugger the hobbit might be waiting for meh.

UPON TERMINATION OF THIS AGREEMENT, YOUR ACCESS PRIVILEGES TO THE SITE, SERVICES AND GAMES WILL TERMINATE AND YOU WILL FORFEIT ANY UNUSED SERVICES THAT YOU PURCHASED OR RECEIVED PRIOR TO TERMINATION."
I think you'd have a problem with that if you were to try suing. That's part of the Terms of Service, by the way. You know, the thing you agreed to when you created your account.
Meh, I don't really care, all I use SK for is the forums now-a-days
What's that you say? If SK will get removed the forums will too?
NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would be sad.
But that's what my fan game is for. I know that, some day, all MMOs must come to an end, some way or another. Nothing lasts forever. I want to make a fan game to permanently capture the beautiful picture that is Spiral Knights. Something that can let people know through the ages about the mystical yet somehow believable world that is Cradle. This game has memories that I don't think I could copy, but I want to frame what this world is like.
Other than that, I would get over it and play other games. (e.g. Pokemon Y, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, and maybe Elsword Online if it was still around.)
Speaking of Pokemon, that's why it's so great. Even as they make new games, you can always play the older ones. They never erased it. With Spiral Knights, instead, each new version erases the last. Anything that could have meant something special to the player might be lost forever. Pokemon doesn't have this problem, which is why I believe it to be so successful.
I would feel sad. After a long while though, I'll remember everything I've learned from the game, esp. from my friends and guildmates, cherish them, and move on with my Knights to other adventures.
I would be bummed, I put a lot of work into that knight.
After a day or two I would go play Minecraft
A bit bummed out, then I'd play Pokemon/Mabinogi/Blazblue series in the meantime until smash 4.
I would be really sad too. SK is one of the ONLY games I play, and it's the only game I like. I know it's just a game but... I like this game so much. If spiral knights were to somehow "go away", I would still draw pictures of it.
I would focus more on this My ultimate goal in Osu! is to be good enough to play [Insane] maps and hopefully get a grade of S.
What if the game ends up with unofficial, private servers being set up to keep running? I wonder what sort of impact it would have on OOO, the brand and the playerbase.
I would try to find a group of people that would willingly help me buy licensing right to spiral knights and restart developing spiral knights a s third party game, maybe make it a story based game for a console and slowly try to build spiral knight reputation back up in order to make it an mmo again but one that tries to expand a little more on lore and on the adventure aspect of the game.
Though this would be impossible for me now since I'm still an under grad and not to mention buying rights to a game is something that cost a lot of money , please hold up for a bit until I get the means to do so.
Honestly this is something I fear may happen to spiral knights because the shrinking player base (steam hasn't registered the player base ever being over 2,000 people in a long time but that is steam alone and not people who play via website or kongregate but I do know that other successfull mmo' have well over 10,000 people online at any given time)
SK is my favorite game, and even though I have a lot of games I wouldn't be able to play them and this would sadden me. I would have an empty Void in my heart. An integral piece of my childhood gone. I'd cry for SO long.
I have an emotional attachment to this game, and I would be very depressed for a long time, and cry whenever someone mentions the following words:
Slime
Gremlin
Spiral
Knight
Vee
Prismatic
Cat
Trojan
Slag
Oil
Arena
Gaunlet
Badger
Brandish
Flourish
Shadow
Nitrome
Lockdown
Coliseum
Chaos
Wolf
Chrome
Gorgo
Fiend
Grief
Any somewhat popular SK player's name
Thunderfist
Valiance
Mantle
Candlestick
Grim
Forge
Spark
Gem
Pulsar
Troll
Auto aim/target
Nameless
Justifier
These are all that are on my mind currently. This isn't even a third of what the list should be.
SK, I love you, and all jokes aside, if you were cancelled in the midst of the moment I might kill myself. I shouldn't be crying over typing about a game, but SK, PLEASE never leave. You remind me of my old friends and old times. I'll stay with you forever SK.
Don't you ever think I won't.
Id kill myself this game is my legacy and if it goes down then i go down...
Haven't played it for long enough to be too attached to SK.
Still got clothes to buy in Pokemon X, Starbound to catch up on, etc.
I'll miss Gremlins though.
"I'd start playing Dark Souls 2 non-stop."
dark souls 2 was released a few days ago on the ps3 and xbox360. Game is intense, I died 10 times because of how many ambushes there are in the first zones of the game.
After I got over being sad, I would play Starcraft II and maybe get into League of Legends.
