Lately, I've found that untradable rarities are both problematic and unnecessary.
Rarities such as fire crystals and orbs of alchemy found in the Clockworks, by default, cannot be traded when acquired, which is a seemingly pointless restriction. I say this because oftentimes you'll find you have plenty of a lower-tiered orb or fire crystal that you really have no use for. A friend or guildmate of yours may find themselves in desperate need of such rarities, but tend to have a harder time stumbling upon them. You would sure love to give them a hand, but it simply can't be helped. You've got a pile of unwanted rarities that you can't do anything with.
Got an absurd amount of Sparks of Life? Has a friend of yours exhausted their supply? Sorry, there's nothing you can do. Over 400 Warm Fire Crystals collecting dust in your inventory? Don't know what to do with them? What are you, some kinda hoarder? You could always trade them or sell th-- wait, no, you can't...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but few, if any, benefit from this trade restriction. I heartily propose it be lifted for both existing and future rarity drops. Else, I'd love to hear just why these are untradable in the first place.
