I have a GC controller. Anyways, is a GC controller better or a PC one? I'm just wondering to get a converter or a PC controller.

Depends if you like the button placement.. I think a PC controller would be better, on the GC controller it emphasizes you using one stick and the face buttons more, while most PC controller users use the two sticks.

I used to swear by my ps2 controller adaptor, but once xbox gained a monopoly on the controller market (sorry, you can't play this game without an xbox 360 controller! Sucker!) I broke down and now I just use 360 for all my pc games

Or you could just use

Or you could just use WASD+mouse like the true master race.

I use a DS4, which works excellently when using DS4 Tool. I used to use a Xbox 360 controller and I really prefer DS4. The sticks are more comfortable and feel more precise. My aim has improved significantly since I got it. The stick buttons are also much easier to use, I'd say. Maybe that's because you hold your fingers more top down on a DS4 than on a Xbox 360 controller. The triggers are also more precise and most notably, it's easier to hold a finger on both a trigger and a bumper. The d-pad is a bit harder to use if you use the left stick for movement but if you use it, it's definitely a bazillion times better than the Xbox 360 d-pad. There's also the touchpad. Actually usable for some minor mouse tasks such as minimizing the interface and changing a bit of gear (though much gear becomes a hassle).

As for your question, I agree with post #1. GC controllers were awesome but the C-stick wasn't the best. There's also a bit of a lack of buttons (no stick buttons, no left bumper, only one center button) which might be a bit problematic.

Is it worth upgrading to the DS4 Krakob?

All my years of not owning one were a goddanged lie.

I seriously hope this is the controller you're trying to use.

Depends on you.
Do you have the cash for it available? Are you satisfied with your current gamepad? What do you even use right now? If you're using a DS3, I'd say it's probably not worth it because the only changes are the touchpad which isn't that useful for SK and a LED along with some slight design changes like size and stick shape.
I don't think I'd have gone for DS4 if my Xbox 360 controller had not broken because they're so damn expensive. If you don't have a cable, you'll also need to purchase that. In Sweden, that's easily at least $80.

Using a 360 atm. The only thing I dislike about it is the rather large dead zone on the sticks..

DS4 Tool doesn't use deadzones, if I'm not mistaken. The triggers don't have any, either way. That's honestly really great.

I'd say GC Controller.

Because when the noobs challenge you to a Fox only, no items, 8 minutes, 4 stocks, Final Destination match, you can destory them with your skills.

my 2 cents

@ Poomph

Why does it always have to be Fox? You should challenge your friend to a jigglypuff challenge, no items, endless time with 10 stocks to see who's the best annoying cute soccer ball in the world.

SSBM all the way ^ ^ (god I love that game!)

People actually like the Gamecube controller like me? Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door is popular? Animal Crossing is widely accepted?

Where the heck have I been living?
