I was thinking Leviathan Blade, Valiance, Swiftstrike Buckler and Chaos.

That is far from an All Around Loadout. So very far from one.

How do you mean...?

That is an all around loadout, you have damage to cover all enemies, the armor can be used anywhere with enough skill, and the shield is good enough for usability with enough skill as well.

So, Zeldalinkguy, it's obvious that you like the "glass cannon set" that is Chaos and Swiftstrike Buckler. It's really good anyplace granted you can avoid statuses. The only thing that concerns me is your weapon choices; they leave you with untapped potential since they deal Normal damage, you should get specialized ones to use.

Assuming you're a swordie, consider looking at the Brandish/Sealed Sword + BTB/FF sword lines to replace Leviathan. Also consider looking at Elemental damage dealing Alchemers/Argent Peacemaker guns to replace Valiance.

If you're looking for a more defensive armor option, consider looking at Divine Veil + Skolver Coat for a lot of Shock, Fire, Curse, and Freeze(snort) resist along with defense vs. all damage types, DMG Med vs. all enemies, and DMG vs. Fiends Very High. It was a very popular set before Chaos was buffed.

Leviathan's real strength is its charge attack, and you'll have CTR+6. So it's a good loadout for solo play. In party play, you could be highly irritating to your teammates.

Having a normal sword and gun lets you use either one on any enemy. That's nice for flexibility. On the other hand, it doesn't let you output as much damage as you might like.

You can solve both of these problems (at the cost of flexibility) by switching your weapons away from normal weapons. As long as you have two different non-normal damage types, you can inflict big damage on 4/6 of monsters, and moderate damage on 2/6 of monsters. Consider especially an elemental gun paired with a shadow sword or piercing sword. For example, Acheron with Nova/Storm Driver does far more damage than Levi with Valiance.
