The "Arms Appropriation" prestige mission is mission, where you have to give single 4* or 5* item to gain 180 prestige. Money, which you have to use for it is crazy and theres my suggestion how to fix it.

Let's face the facts:

Nobody completes that mission, because prestige is mostly useless and even if - reward is laugh.
On current state, that mission is obsolete and horribly unbalanced, because example "Monsterous Research" gives 120 prestige.

Single 5* item from depot is 12$ in depot price.
Single 4* item from depot is 5,20$ in depot price.

This is ridiculous price for 180 prestige, which is mostly useless. And reminder: "Monsterous Research" gives 120 prestige. Diffrence in prices is giant.

How to fix it:

For me would be OK if player would have to give those attacked by gremlins knights sets of tier 2 items. For example it would random from 1-3 sets of items needed, which would be for example two Cobalt armors, Helms and two caliburs and one wolver set with cutter.

Rewarding players who already gave 5* and 4* items:

If you have logs of prestige done by players, you could give them 500 prestige for every mission done in past.

What you we gain:

Balanced mission, compatible with lore of that mission and gameplay (npc knights wear tier 2 items, isn't it?), mission able to do by players, who don't farm 24/7, not overpriced and fairly rewarded, use of unused orbs of alchemy and for the most - not obsolete place-taker of other item-give missions.

Since I care about prestige, I can agree that I stopped giving away free items, after they wanted 3* stuff - exspecially after mist energy disappeared and I would have to pay with orbs (even if I wanted to give away more items).

However, I thought, that some people pay for this game and buy their current 5* item needed for that mission, buuut... the current payout is not correct.

I see two possibilities:
1. Stop the star level at a lower number (2-3) or
2. give a higher amount of prestige as reward for 5* items (maybe also another item as reward, but this would be untypically as a prestige mission reward)

side note:
I still wouldn't do this exchange if I could get 5k prestige; but is here anyone who is actually exchanging 5* and 4* items?

Here is how it could work:

You have four toy knights that you can add equips using the mission, and you gain presteige for adding on stuff. Completing all of them grants you more presteige than what you normally get. When you encounter the noob knights trapped in cages, they will wear the stuff you give them. They attack with the stuff you give them too. This would mean that...
-better AI would be needed for these knights
-they have to learn how to attack with guns and bombs
-they would need to appear more, such as in the Arcade and a small chance in Arenas
-armorless knights need less hp than they do now

The first knight you rescue will wear the first toy knight's stuff. The second will wear the second's, etc. and the gear works exactly as if a normal player was using them. Of course, only armors and weapons could be deposited, not shields or trinkets, or battle sprites. Any level that has only one or two knights will let you choose the toy they can wear. In a place of four possible knights, they pick the toy that you save the knights in order. The toys never wear out and are useable an infinite amount of times, so long as you see a fellow AI in need. These will not work on Mechas or on other players.

These knights can also dash with the same timer as the player. Without shields, they cannot shield bash. They can do charge attacks similar to Mechas. You can set knights to do only standerd attacks, only charge attacks, or both. You cannot set a toy with a bomb to do standerd attacks. This setting can be toggled at any time, even in battle, for no fee.

You can deposit any level of armor or weapons that you are able to wear. These bind upon being given to the toy and heat up like gears used to level up, so that you don't have to give Radiants to them. You can unbind them via Vise for half the normal unbinding price. You cangive knights 0* even if you are a Vanguard, but you only give one item per mission occurance.

Some good examples for toy knights:
Full set of 2* Demo armor and a Gravation Vortex. Very cheap, and with CTR VH once fully heated. Gather those monsters up.
Fencing Jacket and Wolver Cap and Shocking Edge. A reliable and cheap source of shock status.
Cyclops Cap and Vitasuit Plus with Status Alchemer. Ranged status that can tank a litthe bit, and very inexpensive.
Full 2* Demo and a Venom Veiler. The VV will cost you a bit if you don't have the orbs or recipes, but extremely helpful. Also works with Swagger Storm, but avoid the other mist bombs in case of status Lichens. You could also use Nitronome if you can't afford the recipes.

+1 to Use, especially since the Crash Site's 3 Vanguards' fighting and blocking proves that OOO can achieve this most likely with a simple copy and pasting of the javascript.
