More and more guilds are forming alternate guilds for Lockdown for a variety of reasons.

1) It's more fun to play with/against your friends/guildmates because
a) they are people you know
b) there is less hurt feelings and trash talk

2) You can train newer players

3) It advances your guild up the leaderboard

4) you don't have to waste time waiting around for a game

5) It's easier to get teams to play at tier 2 or 1 if you want to

6) ?

Should Spiral Knights give guilds the ability to form more than one lockdown team at a time?

Is there some ettiquette you'd recommned for alt guild usage?

Exceeds can farm however they want, I hardly see any of them improving.

Anyway, the fact that they farm doesn't matter at all, it's just the fact that they lose the right to brag about their #1 spot.

I'd rather they let us form 4v4 games in-house without gaining rank points. Being able to farm up the charts requires at least 12 participants to be online and bothered to move back and forth. If you care enough for a spot on the charts, well good for you. The leaderboards are mostly bollocks, I'm sure anyone who knows what they're talking about knows it represents only activity and nothing more.

You know you can already do this, just as long as either one of the queues is full or one of the queues is on a different server.
Do you mean it as in your two teams can play each other? (Guild A has 12 players queued in 2 different teams US, they play themselves)

Yes, because the whole alt guild thing is an overly complicated, expensive workaround to a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place. Plus, leaderboards are worthless anyway, but if you REALLY care about them that much, you could make intra-guild matches not contribute to rank points.

It's not all about farming.

It's not all about farming, it's about having fun.

Have you guys ever wondered why the leadersboard isn't based on Damages, Caps, Defends and Skills?
-It's because OOO realizes that the right key to reach the top is a matter of Dedication and Perseverance.

Negative people would call it as "farming" but positive people would call it as "hardworking".

@Scirio Have you ever seen any one of us bragging our Rank #1 spot? No, because we don't brag it at all.

P.S. It doesn't matter at all if you win or lose a few or a huge amount of matches, remember it's just a "game". As long as you keep your feet on the ground and cut off your ego. People will start looking upon and believing in you.
