How come Items from spiral knights arent "Steam" marketable?

For example the iron wolf items they were pretty neat right but would't be even cooler if we can buy other promotional items? for example those new celestial armor costumes they're pretty cool aren't they? so how come nobody can buy them over the "Steam"marketplace? just a small teeny suggestion sorry if this post sounds dumb and i don't look dumb because i really don't want to be seen as dumb. ๏_๏

They weren't a Steam promo

Iron wolf and dragon costumes were a steam promotion. This promotion carried over to many F2P games, and was active during the 2013 winter sale event.

These new celestial costumes are a Spiral Knights promotion. They didn't go through Steam to distribute them.

I would also assume making Spiral Knights a real-money economy would take money out of the game and put it in Steam instead, which isn't exactly the best idea for business.
