You say without AT and then name red and fay... they're good but they both use AT with brandish.
Best non-AT brandish user is Riinsei.
Best AT brandish user is Fayite.

Going down from a perfect connection to having a dodgy connection is always bogus. Players who play with constant lag learn to adapt to it and play accordingly. Players with the 0 ping connection obviously don't have to do this but if you took away their 0 ping THEN they have to adapt which takes time and is very hard in my opinion. As for the best brandish players ehm, all that I know have been listed above.

Also @hades, redblades did post a video on his youtube channel getting like 24k damage without AT while using combuster so it seems that he can use it without AT. However does he use it or not in a random match is debatable.

Fyi : AT is broken if used by player who suffers latency...
So tecnically, Red-Blades son't use AT !?
If we use AT, we'll be missing every hits...

How AT is broken if latency hits :
#1 Even when you turn on AT, The AT will aim slower(That means when you aim your enemy, your AT will show up 1 - 1.5 sec later)

#2 When you hit that attack button while aiming at enemies when you're locking on to them, you'll miss them by an (in-game) inch.

#3 AT isn't that stable with latency because even when you move a little, your AT will vanish like magic...

I love how people think of AT as some sort of god mode in this forum. Like really cop on. Turn on AT yourself and do what the other AT players are doing(the good ones I mean). I can pretty much guarantee you'll get hammered into the wall against them even though you had AT on. You know why ? Because when you're using AT you also need some skill with it. You need to know how/when to dodge, when to strike and especially how to gun(which usually is even outside the scope of AT). I laugh at you people who say that players who play with AT aren't skilled because it's obvious that they are. If there is no skill involved in using AT then how come LD isn't full of Ezho's or Fayites ?

I really don't know who the best brandish player is. It just induces a lot of rage whenever people use their pointless bragging rights in threads like this.

Attack Speed Increased: Very High is the strongest Brandish in Lockdown.

I can do 20 pullups from a deadhang and bench a whopping 180 last I checked.

I use a leviathan though.

gonna highlight a few things i saw while skimming at 6 am on sleep medicine

- connection plays just as much a role in the game as knowing what your opponent's gonna do or having enough of a reaction time to where you can afford not knowing your opponent well enough; trying to argue one is more important than the other is like trying to decide what makes a peanut butter and jelly sandwich so delicious - the peanut butter or the jelly (for those who have nut allergies, we'll say ham and cheese [if you're allergic to cheese and nuts, enjoy your grass on a bun])

- AT only does so much to help a player before it starts to hinder them in other areas: for example, they may have an unparalleled 1v1 playstyle, but unless they toggle in group fights, chances are they're going to swing at whatever moves, which leaves them more than open on a variety of fronts, since their focus is gonna be on what they're aiming at, not on utilizing the entire screen area to get the job done. on top of that

- AT's a part of the game, no matter how much people complain about it. get over it. take the moral high road and don't use it, or take a detour to the limelight and use it. yeah it sucks that there's a no-AT variant of lockdown, but let's face it, so many people call each other noobs anyway that putting the playlist in would only propagate that sort of behavior and give everyone something else to be stroke each other with.

- whoever compiled the latency tests into a nice video playlist did a good job - asking them to perform a test themselves even though they've chosen to rely on third party testers to verify the information for them, and found it good enough to include in a playlist basically explaining how latency works in LD, is probably the third biggest waste of time they could do given the circumstances. the second waste of time would be having to add the video to the playlist in order to substantiate the findings already present, and the first place winner for waste of time goes to arguing this point themselves since i doubt they care enough to go through with any of it again, considering how touch-and-go the quality of java programming ends up being either intentionally or otherwise.
