I'm tired of being trolled endlessly.

I only play Spiral Knights for fun; apparently people want me to quit. I simply just want to have fun without being annoyed beyond the point where I explode. I don't want to offend people with insults, but you leave me no other choice. Your insults are completely empty and pointless. Your so-called "ego" is simply complete lies. In layman's terms, there is no point to trolling because it makes you feel bad inside. I simply wish to just enjoy the game with my friends and guildmates, and now I'm being denied it.

Treat me the way you want to be treated.

If they continue (through other players or alts), there is also a /complain to report them for harassment.

Hmm....I'll be the first to admit, when I came over from the Bazaar forum I was very new to all the random peeps around here. Some take things seriously some take it as a joke. Bottom line is to just ignore it, make love and move on. At the end of the day you'll never see the guy trolling you so do your best not to upset them, you never know what mid term crisis they are going through. Hormonal changes, that sort of thing.

Phantom, this is the 3rd thread I've seen you host where you take an "offended" stance or act passive-aggressive and then say something that invites people to respond to that. It's not even at the point that I've seen it on forums where someone like xtweeterx would post and suddenly forum people are jumping all "STOP POSTING OMG" - so all I can deduce is that you're having problems with people in-game and you're expecting them to read the forum threads.

You're calling attention to yourself and acting as troll bait. At this point, you have no right to complain about it afterwards when people take it.
If you want to stop getting trolled, stop acting mad. If your issues are in-game, there's an ignore feature for that.

It's because of my own mental disorders. I don't actually have any true friends, and if I try to even make one, the friendship is so volatile it breaks soon after. I blame myself for even coming across this game filled with toxicity that cannot be repaired.

No. In fact, I only know you from these 3 threads. All 3 of them have you loudly acting as a victim with no prior provocation (as far as I know) then being all "bring it on" from the first post you make!

Honestly, it's like looking down a facebook feed and seeing the random vague passive-aggressive post and wondering
1) why is he mad
2) who is he talking to

At that point, instead of publicly projecting it and then bringing in completely unrelated people like me, you should bring it up directly with them. And really, that's all I'd ask from you, since this bothers you so much. Because dealing with it this way is just going to backfire on you. This is for your own good (since it bothers you).

Besides, if you're really getting 'trolled',
It'd be better if you don't react to the troll too much. Trolls enjoy watching people get upset.

I agree. But! It's no excuse to do those things to the person you mentioned is it? Best to settle the matter by either ignoring it or responding in a way that doesn't end up with everyone involved getting a butt hemorrhage.

Still this isn't the thread to discuss how we should and shouldn't treat kids who seek unnecessary attention.

They insult me and my choice of gear, and also make mean jokes about my family which I take massive offense to.

2. Why do they do it?
I asked, they said "because we love getting off on misery and you're really easy trollbait"

3. Why haven't you ignored/reported them for it?
I simply rage and ragequit, causing me to be unable to report and ignore them.

More hated than Xtweeterx? What about Sirius-Voltbreaker and Annilation?
Sirius Voltbreaker was voted to get kicked off forums like 20 times, has been called a nub 15 times, has spammed the most amount of threads humanly possible, and probably 30% of the forum community that knew him hated him.
Annilation, again was voted to get kicked of forums several times, has been called a noob like 30 times, has spammed a lot of threads (Still not comparable to Sirius' amount)
I'd say Tweeter was the better behaved of the three.

I think you have the same problem Sirius had. You are trying to make people feel bad for you, and to take pity on you. It didn't work for him, gave him more haters. Why would it work for you?

Well that sounds like they're just awful. You're still going to have to deal with it just like everyone else does though. I mean, what else is there?

You can:
a) Ragequit and make this thread
b) Ignore them and forget about the haters, then report them for abuse if they keep it up

Its a shame that people like that are out there, but you aren't about to change the world.

Annilaton may have said useless things.

But I still think he was a lot better than Tweeter. Personally, when he wasn't spamming asinine threads, Annilaton made some pretty good threads, like his "Dragon Promo" suggestion, which was actually quite popular. Tweeter, on the other hand, made no helpful threads as far as I could see.

Eh...

The three who made fools of themselves on the forums were mostly seeking attention as far as I could tell. The more annoying part to me was the few people who brought it up whenever they spoke, or when they talked about their actions as if they were some sort of hero. The initial spam was honestly okay, but they kept it up for a few days and then acted as if they created something important. :/

Enough ranting about the past though, Phantom, you need to either stay silent as not to give them bait, or act calm. If they're complaining about you, then obviously you're beating them to the point in which they must use insults to bring you down. When people do that, use the complain ability given to all users.
