I felt the need to create this thread after going through my daily prestige mission: Hazardous Heist.

I made it to the Deconstruction Zone and started off pretty well. Like usual, a massive swarm of Gremlins appeared at the beginning of the level. After bashing my through that, I started running around and shooting down the Gremlins one by one with my Iron Slug. (You have a problem with that?)

Once I killed all the Gremlins, I saw that one of them died in a cramped box and had dropped a power booster. You know, the thing that lets you one shot Vana with a Proto Gun. Of course, two Mecha Knights were coming after seeing me from 50 miles away. I decided to go grab the power up before they blocked the way in. That way I could easily kill the Mechas too!

But then my cat came and jumped up onto my computer desk and started staring at me while waving his tail in front of my computer screen. Along with that, I suddenly had a lag spike that caused my game to freeze. Just so happens that my sticky keys decided to turn on for some unknown reason. I had no idea what the heck was going on with all the freeze and tailness, but I was still moving towards that cramped little box. When my computer stopped the lag and I moved my cat, I was on the floor dead with two Mechas walking over me.

Then the power booster despawned.

That's my most aggravating death on record. How about some other people's lag+sticky+cat+seriesofunfortunateevents deaths?

When people kill me in Lockdown when I'm at less than 30% HP and then proceed to call out "lol noob, too easy u suk at ld"

Yup, pretty easy indeed, it's not like your teammates helped you prior to your "kill", that'd be pretty stupid.

Any death that involves:

Lag/freezes (especially when the game "undoes" my dash)
Overpowered/overpopulated enemies (Silversaps, arena greavers, being surrounded and hit by 6+ enemies simultaneously [usually lichens/mechas/gremlins], tortodrones)
Pills being way too slow and interruptible (and remedies sometimes)
Hitbox dissonance
Bad teammates (ignoring my cries for help, shoving enemies into me, disabling voice chat so I get typekilled, etc)
shock/fire (especially shock, which is completely overpowered against knights and underpowered against mobs)
being hit without warning from offscreen

Which is about 75% of them.

Hard to think of one right off the top of my head...

I guess whenever I have a hardcore lagspike in a locked room with a horde of fiends and their little silkwing buddies.

When I shield cancel a swing, hold the shield button, but a fiend's briefcase somehow magically groes trhough my shield and either does massive damage or kills me.

Also, vana rushing into me, I get set on fire. that's fine. I go and put the fire out witht he orb things. Vana then turns around and smashes his mace onto me before I can even move 2 blocks from where I put myself out. On fire and stunned again. No water because I just used it.
I suck at Vanaduck.

Also, this isn't a death, but when you put a pepperbox charge into a wisp and it's left with this much health.

My most aggravating death eh?

When a teammates Polaris shot an Electreant into my face.

When a gunner in Lockdown pulled off seven consecutive freeze hits on me with a hail driver, while I was in skolver....with Gift of Autumn.

When stun wears off at exactly the wrong second in FSC and I run into shadow fire from the bad timing.

When your idiot teammates summon all four trojans at once in the final FSC room and die from all of them, leaving you the sole survivor, and they see through your shadow cloak.

When you swing a sword in Lockdown and you start charging a bomb instead that gets a GF combo in your face.

When a teammate using a VT (clockworks) shock-locks monsters and the lack of knockback gets you killed.

When I forget you can't shield against Grimalkins.

Whenever I need to use a spark.

PvE: -Trojan Corner Kills

PvE:
-Trojan Corner Kills (Seriously needs to be fixed)
-Shield bump attacking eemy into me (Im fine if polaris or DA since they are doing dmg, but shield bump is pretty annoying
-Stun animation freeze (Glitch, did not exist a few months ago)
-Slow pills
-Gorgoos (has wicked AT ghost range
-People shooting exploding blocks by you (not that bad tho since i do it too XD)

Lockdown:
-You are trturning to base and some troll spwncamper picks you off
-Invisible shock or freeze bombs
-Mob death (in a mob fighting a single player, some idiot shoots antigua, cancels your attack, and get GFed)
-Brandish charge spams

Most of these arent too bad, but the silly trojan corner block is just bad design.

Any death that happens from lag. Any of them. From my Dash being delayed to my shield not coming up fast enough to block the hit, it all aggravates me.

When I'm generally bad at the game in t3 and lockdown and always using a ton of sparks, but only used 1 spark during the entire shroud event.

Ohohohoho, could I tell you...

1. Cornered by multiple Trojans.
2. Lagging while in any Fiend-themed level.
3. That instant spin attack Tier 3 Gremlin Thwackers do with no warning whatsoever.
4. Stun-locked by Vanaduke after using Blitz.
5. My Knight becoming unresponsive after a Shield Bash due to a glitch.
6. Dying because my DA/Faust/Alchemer charged-shot that would've killed the enemies and saved my life, got eaten by the wall I have my back against.
7. Surrounded by EIGHT Rocket Puppies in a Tier 3 Arena (yeah, that HAS happened).
8. All nearby Zombies using Fire Breath ALMOST at one time, but SLIGHTLY different so that the total onslaught lasts a ridiculously long time.

Oh helm yeah!

I once made the mistake of letting a Knight Elite come to Vanaderp with me, and he aggro'd two trojans in my direction. I got boxed into a corner by two charges, and bashed apart.

And the worst part?

"Lol, u r Vanguard and u died b4 me."

if they're shocked, you have to account for the possibility of knockback negation. Don't use risky attacks if they leave you open.

First Shadow Lair in my SK history, Rabid Snarbobutts boss battle. All was going well, and then my video card crashes and recovers. Had to spend the rest of the boss fight with SK's screen stuck in freeze frame. I could hear the fight still going on though, so I had to wait until I somehow got disconnected so I could restart SK and get back in. Oddly enough, the weird glitch which causes my SK to automatically DC and exit every floor (and is my bane when waiting for LD matches) proved to be a mercy, and I and my party went on to obliterate the Unknown Passage. Oh, and it didn't occur to me to just unplug my router for a second and restart SK while reconnecting.

More recently: "An Occurrence at an Owlite Keep", a mission I have regularly soloed on Elite since Radiants started dropping in Depth 26+. Went in with a full party on Advanced. Total party kill. Several times. No, we never made it to the last elevator. Yes, we were all properly equipped. I have no idea how it happened.

Arena, Fiendish Fray. First room, final fight. I charge my Strike Needle up to nail a Trojan in the back. His Greaver buddy gets in my face and eats the charge, allowing the Trojan to turn around and slam his sword into my skull. I get stunned mid-attack, so the stun stop bug kicks in. He then slams me again, then AGAIN. Gotta say though, that Greaver's courage was admirable.

Not necessarily in chronological order. At least the numerous Tortodrone beatdowns I received were understandable.*cries pitifully*

Oooh, you like BFGs too? How much of a damage bonus do I need to stagger Thwackers in D28? I built an Iron Slug for precisely that purpose (Gremlin-Construct sniper stagger gun), but it has no UVs, and it didn't work as well as I had hoped. D:
