Simple question, really:
I'm about to start making a 5* gun just for the purpose of using it in Fire Storm Citadel. I'm also going to be making a Shivermist Bomb. So really, the question is: what's the best Gun for Vanaduke, and why?
Just wondering what the general consensus is on this one.
Except the peacemaker because it's pretty good against undead (lots of zombies) and Vanny himself (he's actually weak to piercing)
Otherwise Alchemers or Callahan, for zombies or Vanny respectively. And the 5* blaster would probably be fine, but not ideal.
I'm a big big fan of the Hail Driver. It's really effective against zombies, and if you angle it right you can do crazy damage with splatter shots. Plus when mobs freeze you can turn your attention to other mobs for a little while.
Well, like I said, I'll have a Shivermist Bomb for freeze. But I want to pair it with the best gun to inflict damage to Vanaduke, since I can't get close with a sword in stages 3 and 5 of the fight.
Really, I just want to know what's the best DPS Gun against Vanaduke, keeping in mind that I already have some trouble dodging him and the things falling from the ceiling due to lag.
Peacemaker is the best for him specifically, I think. Not sure, but since Callahan stops you when firing, I can't see that as being helpful when you're already having dodging issues.
I use the Hail Drive with uv vs undead medium it works out very well for myself
Argent peacemaker or Blitz Needle should get you through, though the AP is preferred because you can move around while shooting.
You can also dodge easily with the Argent against Vanaduke.
Argent Peacemaker, because Magnus said so.
EDIT: Also, because its the most mobile.
