It would be cool if the missions gave you some crowns at the end to help you with the orbs or give you more because it took me what? 3 days to get all 13 elite orbs then the missions gave 2 so i have to do 1 more which took me an hour.... It would be cool if the game did some support instead of making us farm bosses or do all the arcade and prestige missions wasting our time and it is really harder when you are going f2p.

Formulate a plan!
Just keep playing through the Arcade as it's fairly fresh. Try higher difficulties if you're not on Elite already; higher difficulty levels will drop more rare items like Orbs of Alchemy.

It all depends on your scheme
It all depends on your scheme to farm. Find the best places to farm the orbs and crowns you need, bosses are a good option, even better if you play on elite difficulty. If elites are your problem then do Roarmulus Twins on elite, easy elite orbs, or grind stratum 4 and 5 through the arcade, not so hard. You can get orbs for free! Isn't that good enough?

Paying for the orbs isn't bad either. Orbs cost exactly the same as Crystal Energy, as it was back in the day to craft the respected levelled item. So I don't find it unfair that they are in the game. If anything OOO has made it easier for us.
