The description of the wolver set suits me but i feel like I see a lot of people using wolvers.

costumes
You should get whatever armor you think is best (for your damage output, play style, etc.), and then wear a costume over that armor, to achieve the look that you want. In other words, the game lets you separate style and substance completely. There is no reason to compromise on either.

The most used sets probably are Skolver, Vog Cub, Chaos and surprisingly Skelly set. Skelly probably because of it's Shadow resist since there aren't really that many Shadow armors.

Cobalt is probably up there. Even if its the worst possible armor (neglecting the plate series and other odd choices that aren't presented readily to new players), its cheaper than every single alternative forever and ever amen.

You forget Gunslinger line. It branches out to 4 alchemy paths, like the Demo
