So, er, hi.

I've been hearing quite a lot of rants on how LD is one-sided and it seems everyone goes only for damage. I thought of a remedy to this situation without creating a separate game by itself. Though of course OOO won't implement this because of... yeah.

Are you ready for it? Are you sure? Really sure? Okay fine, here you go.

Different game modes in LD.

The thing would work like this:

You get into the match and a randomized game mode is chosen, and of course you play that. These game modes will provide each separate definition of "LD fun".These modes are I would like you, the community, to think of.

Have fun.

BTW: Remember, each type of LD'er will be playing this. Nubs, pros, and of course Narwhals. Be sure to take their opinions as well, but not the Narwhals. Those guys don't really care.

The big issue with Lockdown is the fact that every match (aside from GvG) has randomized players, and the forums are hardly the place to find these random players. It's hard to have a 'community agreement' to anything, especially since the Coliseum forum only catches a smaller portion of the playing community.

The most you can do is come up with is something you and a friend can do that random stragglers can join.

ex: game starts, and I say something like
"Class roulette: Play with the class you start with!" and I'll do it myself and public chat about how fun or terrible a class is (to kind of pique other people's interest) and ask if anyone else wants to join in. Over a few games, I usually end up getting 3-4 other people to join.

That sounds like fun. Too bad you don't play on the Eu servers!
