At first as you can see admins never reaply to posts like this one... they often only reply to useless posts and post !d!0t!c useless replies if you are looking for any answers! I am pretty old player of SK too and I know game's history. I wish old days back :( This game begun getting worse and worse after update with Battlesprites! Good old events are being ruined with +1 danger missions. This way you have to play for tokens to get boxes or play danger mission to get USELESS RESKINNED items!!! Seriously, why don't they let us just old "boring" all day farming tokens and giving us danger missions as any other events? And the worst there may be that they are keep trying to make us pay for ce for "free" boxes in last few months. Sad, I have heard some li'l kidz wasted hundred(s) of $ just to get rare items from those boxes. Another thing may be that if you even post a suggestion, they won't answer. If you send suggestion (or even bug that should be fixed) via support mail, hyperion will always copy-paste message to post that on forum where sure they won't read it! By the way about bug reports, why do they have time to fix things, which ARE NOT broken and time to troll us on forum, but they don't have time to take care of worst bugs, disconnecteds without reason or cool updates! I have many more other things to say there but I don't have time enough time to write everything, especialy not for ruined games like this one!

There is still time to fix SK. I really am afraid of how ruined is gonna be SK's birthday this year (which is comming in a few days) if they are gonna add another danger mission and reskinned stuff! AGAIN!

yeah, it helps like hell, i'm bored anyway, because i don't have new boss missions to play and the core is still closed. i joined this game at it's birthday and i was impressed about this game! but it is getting worse and worse. i don't know if the are only lazy or they are out of money because of all that boxes.

Spiral Knights ISN'T DEAD, but it's not lively like in the past either. If I'd make a rough estimate of then number of people that play SK regularly, (I could be wrong), I'd say it's like 5k-7k? That's pretty small for a game with SK's potential. I still feel that this game isn't getting what it deserves from publicity, or fame. OOO needs money yes, SEGA needs money, yes, but till when are we going to say that and watch SK going downward more and more?

No, the game won't die, there'll still be people coming over and over again, but the numbers ARE INDEED getting lower. Heck I even know 70% of the people I meet in all Havens, LD, and PUG runs. We do need a miracle to get SK to public and lights, because with the current advertising, I doubt it will. Maybe Steam could advertise the game more and more? Put it on frontpage for a while? idk...

Making the game harder for veteran players could attract the old people to return again. It's true that making the game friendlier and easier will attract newbies to the gamee, but for how much would they stay? Weeks? Months? Few stay for a year, I assume (Again, I hope I am wrong) I've always said that SK had the potential and still has it but it's getting wasted, horribly.

This game Is in a dead end. ,don't you see? Once you've beated up vana 99999999+ times and got to the core, There's Practically nothing else to do Except Lock Down Farming, Or running around circles haven.I swear In the past 3 years I have played this game I have seen no changes to the clockworks.Yet I have been Here the forums seeing Soar moans for More content yet The devs aren't doing it.Broken promises like the Tortodrone where Just sad. Seeing the from the beginning To now, Makes me wonder how did the game ended up like this? Well Lack of content. There's no more "explore the worlds " Or "your only hope lies at the planet's core" The only thing I can explore in SK nowadays is Vana And LD. Take my advice new players to Sk: Enjoy this game until you reach the stoping point

Patience is all you need. Don't listen to these pessimists!

This is how I spend my time on SK:

-I never do FSC more than twice in a row. It becomes too boring if you play it too long for a moment.
-LD if i'm really bored, but not too long.
-Arcade.
-Try some challenges, for example a full '...' run in proto gear or something like that, you get the idea, right?
-Grinding orbs and crystals in rank missions.
-Arcade.

I'm doing this for almost 1,5 years, every day. Still not bored of SK as of yet.
If you really think SK is dying, then play and enjoy SK like you've never done before, while it's still here!

@Egalitus: Exactly! I always say that doing too much of one thing will burn you out, but doing a little of everything will keep you going. But the point of his thread isn't that hes worried or concerned... he doesn't want to "enjoy SK like never done before while it's still here." That isn't going to help him. What he's trying to do is (in a sense) "threaten" the Game Masters. Threaten is a bit strong though... more like a call to action is what he's trying to do. You know, put some dynamite under them. Whether that needs to be done is a different story, but he's not going to understand that his attempts are futile. That stems from the logic that "I've played this game so long, done so much in it, become such a recognized person, and spent x amount of money on this game that SURELY the devs will have to pay attention to me because I'm just SO important that the game owes me something because I am who I am." But really, once you do start investing yourself and/or money into the game, and when things start not going the way YOU want them, you start to get a little selfish and think that you suddenly can have a bargaining chip in thing. While it's understandable that you could withdraw your support and future investments in the game because you aren't liking the way things are heading, it is unreasonable to get an ego from your investments and start thinking that your voice is the most important voice to be heard.

@Sandwich-Potato: Yeah, you are right, but steam charts are showing that game's steam population is decreasing. I don't know how much steam contributes to total population, but it's high i assume.

Pretty sure the game has been dying since 2011. With major content updates few and far between, the game has been unable to keep a playerbase. I mean, come on - the endgame hasn't changed since FSC/LD came out.
