WHAT!?

How dare you say Spiral Knights is alive! This game is obviously being killed in a slow and painful way! I have proof!

Jempire left!

HA! See!? That means PvP is getting boring and everyone knows that Lock Down is Spiral knight's GOD!

So SK is clearly dieing.

A nice set of rotating events that don't rotate.

Should I copy-paste?

Meh, who cares about Jempire, the end of one great guild is another great guild's genesis.

As for the content, OOO really needs to work their butt off to convince me to return to this game. So far, they failed miserably.

And also, arc, it seems only you and a few other active forumers are running the show, the theater is already empty and you still pretend as if the seats are full. Stop this, a bunch of idiotic posts won't take this game out of the emergency care room. OOO needs to kick it up a notch, a very large notch at that. And now, for a little song:

Looking down into the clockwork,
Gears turning by,
Every monsters advancing together,
So willingly to sacrifice crowns,
Players accepted their fate of grinding,
Give up freewill, conform,
Individual pieces hurled together,
Becomes a full storm.

Looking down into the Gremlin colony,
War factories rise,
Even the developers with the best intentions,
Started to believe in their own lies,
They can always talk about the future,
At at the end, contents must be made,
The only way out of the clockwork,
Is to strike out and pave your own way!

We all play,
Our own knights,
Will you fuel the desire to grind?
Always struggle with the truth,
With all the games you might have played.
No matter how awesome the game is,
You will eventually leave,
Even when the vana has fallen,
The grinding still raged with in!!!

To be fair, Jempire had some teams that were the 'pvp group' and contributed (much to my confusion) to a lot of its negative reputation, but
1) it was a very large guild (so generalizing them down to a 'pvp guild' is kind of like thinking the Coliseum forum represents the entire PVP community, and neither are true)
2) it held events not only for its guild members but also for the general player community (or maybe, their events overlapped with the general player community?)

I don't know how true those held in the long run since I myself wasn't part of them and wasn't too close with any members when I came back from a long hiatus, but at the very least, that's what I remember of Ruby and some of the original Jempire members from like, 2011-2012.

-----

:; I'm actually mildly interested in all the things they announced they were working on in September 2013. Challenge mode sounds like a new Coliseum game type, t3 boss stratum sounds cool and permanent, arcade redux sounds nice, gunner update... I'll see how I feel about that when it comes out; but all in all, they're all things that really would add to the game, moins the gunner update, because I know how you sword people are. I've seen you before.

I've been fairly pleased with the (in-game side of) events, including Apocrea, Grinchlin Assault, and the Tortodrone missions. At the very least, they show me that there are some nice features that they could totally throw in to clockworks. Unfortunately, they're all flawed by the fact that
1) those events were temporary missions
2) none of those 'cool things' have yet been implemented in permanent missions (hey, someone tell me when vortex blocks shows up in clockworks).

Not to be all "HEY GIVE US A RUSHED BAD THING", but the release gaps between permanent content is killing me though lol.

Has anyone realised this is a wacko job of the "other" thread. Not meant to be serious at all?

it's pretty realistic as far as the community goes lol.

It's not equal, but after enough push / redundant negative threads, actual serious threads will pop up to counter them.
