I've think'd about this for a some time. I designed Battle Sprite, which is mix of offensive and supportive skills, but in other way than Maskeraith. It's element would be shock.

This BS would use the moonstone.

I have no name for it, but an design of it's look. It would be blue-yellow lizardy-looking thing with clever look.

Now the main stuff - skills;
(#/#/#/# means upgrade 0/1/2/3 level upgrade)

1st skill: Thunderbolt - Sends the thunder similiar to Seraphynx's laser (but it's single time). When hit enemy it deals damage with chance of shock. It have 30/40/50/60% chance of chain-attack of near enemies, then 10/15/25/35% of next ones.
2nd skill: Teleport - Acts like dash, but it would be instant position-change to chosed by mouse place (but accurate, not set distance like dash) or max lenght if playing with no mouse. After teleport it would have 60/70/80/90% chance to trigger small shock explosion dealing damage. Walls of course blocks it. Area of possible teleport would be a little longer than dash.
3rd skill: Illusions - Makes two clones of player, that act just like knight npcs does. They stay for 5/7/8/9 seconds and deal 40/50/60/70% damage of weapon that player had selected in time of skill use (UVs, etc does not count).

Hai, boss.

Let me see...

Skills:

1-st skill seems kinda ok, but it should just shoot a single beam of electricity, that will hook to these affected with that chain-attack thing and zap them 2/3/4 more times.

2-nd skill is much OP. Maybe this should warp its users into a random place in a circle round the cursor, and the upgrades would lower the radius making it more accurate.

3-rd skill... Mobs focus on you or your copies?

But a sprite would be cool, maybe it should also look a little similar to Gun Puppies. I think that using Valestone for food would be more accurate too, so that Moonstone is left for ice-element sprite.

This was my idea, but i forgot to mention it. Edited!

I don't think so.

Both.
Seraphynx gives immunity, Maskeraith attack with large AoE. This is very nice mix of this.

I think that using Valestone for food would be more accurate too, so that Moonstone is left for ice-element sprite.

Mineral =/= element. But whatever, does not actually matters.

meh

Now, i'm not quite sure here, but does the second skill teleport itself (my perception of it), or does it teleport the player (what i believe bustware thinks)?
If it teleported the users, that'd be like another free dash... but if it was just the sprite, it'd be a small nuke.

"does the second skill teleport itself or does it teleport the player?"

Sure it teleports the player.

"that'd be like another free dash"

What? Battle Sprites (especially non-starter) are giga money sink. Don't even say me such silly things.

Sounds good

Teleport should up accuracy and increase the chance and range of the shock. Teleport should go a set distance away.

And it isn't a free dash. This would be about 40 seconds delay between dashes. That's like, five other dashes in-between, and has a delay for commanding your sprite. I don't see that as being overpowered, especially because you can teleport over traps in your way. (Seraphynx users can use angelic aura to walk over multiple ones)

About clones

No clones, they shall not have a copy of your current weapon (say nitronome, blitz or combaster)
Maybe as decoy, that drag all attention and explodes after being attacked a set amount of health/time or over a certain time period, while dealing shock damage. IMO a nice method of dealing shock damage, crowding them all in a small space

3rd skill is OP...

...everything else is fine by me.

The third skill would be kinda insane when playing, say, Jelly King. Have Dark Retribution equipped and trigger the skill and BAM! Jelly King dies in a couple of seconds in Solo. Like it's not easy enough, this would make JK even easier to farm...

It would use NPCs AI, and it's pretty unpredictable. JK as well IQ dies in less than one minute with 5* EQ and no sprite. :P
It's well balanced (for me) looking at other pets skills, if you have better idea - I would like to listen it. It's just my vision for it, if anyone would use it, let leave the balance to that person.

Behold, the evil squares shall take over the world!

Better Idea: To fix that, how about we use Gunnerific's idea and combine it with making bosses and mini-bosses not be fooled by the decoys (It would still be useful as it can still distract normal enemys)
