I don't really have a favorite, since I haven't used many weapons, but the Calibur line of swords is pretty useful. I like the charge attack-perfect for soloing most arena rounds and danger rooms!

Divine Avenger is the obvious
Divine Avenger is the obvious choice, but I really, really like the final flourish. Before I crafted the flourish, I felt like I wasn't properly communicating to fiends and beasts how much I hated them. Now I dart around stabbing them in the face. Acheron is also lovely, and having a shadow damage weapon with a usable charge attack is clutch.

My Faves
I love my acheron. It's so great being able to slide in and charge attack down a mender or 2 during an arena/d.room.
I want to love my Venom Veiler, but it is weak-ish.
I love my ash of agni with bonus vs construct. It is awesome.

FYI re Spur/Winmillion line
I personally am fond of the Troika and Spur lines, though as many have said, a 5* version would be nice. In any case, since I haven't come across it anywhere else, and since there is a large amount of complaint with the Spur - I thought I'd share a handy tip and possible wiki edit:
If you Strafe (hold c) with the Spur and attack enemies behind you
-you can hit them with the charge attack
-and "step around" the issue of the backstep before the attack
I also like the Spur's ability to "dance" back and forth between enemies. It's especially useful in Solo when I'm trying to hold off three or more at a time. I'll land a hit on three different enemies keeping their distance from me. Rinse. Repeat. Especially useful against wolvers because they're jumping around all the time. The jerks.

Leviathan Blade!
Absolutely Leviathan Blade. It is good against everything. It has knockback if you do two hits and doesn't (much) if you only do 1 hit. It has tremendous knockback on the charge attack that can hit whole crowds (although you have to use this responsibly. Knock things -into- the bomber's circle of devastation, not -out- of it, etc.)
Of course I'm working my Avenger up into a Divine Avenger and that's great in graveyards and FSC and all, and I -do- love my alchemers... but I need two of them just to make sure nothing I meet is resistant to my gun!
Other weapons may be flashier or better situationally, but Levi goes in Slot 1.

I love the Spur line too, although I usually swap to my flourish for wolvers. I've found the Spur series to be excellent for fighting Gremlins, actually...the wind portion of the attacks makes them attempt to dodge, but that leaves them vulnerable to my swings, AND it stops them from attacking, which raises my survivability. Win-win!

I am a Spur line fan as well. I currently use the Arc-Razor even in T3. I like that you step into each slash which I use to push and enemy past and away from others. if ind this especially handly when fighting scorchers.
I find that the Spur line balances the speed against damage dealt nicely.
I haven't thought of using the strafe with it. I will have to try that out.

I've only had my sealed sword line in a week, but I really am liking the heavy damage plus knockback really can save your arse...
Having the avenger just yesterday allowed me to deal with the very annoying constructs...
BUT my favorite line still is the Flourish series, specifically the Rigadoon...
Piercing damage deals with dodgy wolvers, devilites in a collective, greavers, and the VERY ANNOYING mine Gremlins jumping around.
Stunning is quite often in my opinion...

What I love
I love my Dread Venom Striker. It allows me to have one slot open for a different type of vial while still dealing moderate poison on enemies and the Royal Jelly. Plus mine specifically has a slight UV bonus against Jellies, so I usually spend my 100 energy on Royal Jelly runs. :D

In beauty or use?
I spose I have two favorites, depending on whether we're talking about sheer beauty in looks or in elegant attacks.
I wanted a Sealed Sword at one point... and then I saw someone slash it, with the gorgeous o-fuda storm it makes. I fell in love. It's so incredible..
But in its dancing movement, I love my Arc Razor more. Each sweeping swing is so quick and accurate, and always makes sure to pull me away from those who wish to hurt me. Retrodes.
No matter how overwhelmed I am, Arc Razor does its best to keep me safe, dancing just out of reach of them all. It is my favorite.

Nitronome!
Nitronome is definitely my favorite weapon. The boom is so satisfying, especially when it simultaneously kills a half dozen or more enemies, leaving the room paved with heat and coins.
After that, I really like my fierce flamberge. The attack sequence is just pretty, and doing extra damage to wolvers and greavers is great. I know there are better swords out there (I haven't even found the recipe to make it a 5* yet), but none that I enjoy quite so much.

Here's My Favorites
I've had some experience with striker, Caliber, Spur, and sparble barb series.
My Favorite sword is a tie between my Arc Razor and Twisted Sparble Barb, simply because I like the way they move. I love how the arc razor moves forward with every strike. It's great when I'm low in health and I can just slash once to knock them back and then run back before they hit. Takes time, but it's effective. I also find it's great for slimes because it stops them from finishing their attacks when I do a full three strikes.
The twisted Sparble Barb, I love the two forward thrusts it does, it moves up so much. Plus, it does massive damage to Devilites and Wolvers. I wish it was better against slimes and constructs though... It's almost useless in Arenas, where constructs are abundant.
My favorite gun is my Silversix, It's fast. But I hate how you have to stop to reload. The Blaster series dun do that. It can reload while you move with it. I hope you can move while you reload with the Argent Peacemaker.

My favorite gun is the Nova Driver. Does anyone besides me actually own one of these? :P

The Glacius. The charge
The Glacius. The charge attack is very powerfull, does about double damage hit + some explosion that damage enemies and freeze them in place. They also take damage when they unfreeze by themselves. I can clear a level 3 arena faster with it than my DA, and it doesn't have a CTR UV. And very important: it doesn't knockback enemies to oblivion right in your partner's face or away from their hit range.

Twofer.
I like pairing the Flourish with the Acheron line. Early on, I found that I can handle most enemy types well - until they throw Silkwings or Menders into the mix. I play cautiously and like chipping away at enemies when a safe opportunity presents itself - healing kind of throws a monkey-wrench into that.

Storm Driver
I've fallen in love with my Storm Driver. Filling a room with ricocheting bolts of zappy goodness is very satisfying, even if it's not as fast a charging in with a Divine Avenger.

Troika
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVESS the troika. It can do pro damage, although it is pretty slow. The charge is preatty good too. A few days ago, I was in the Thunder Fist Areana and destroyed an entire wave with one charge smash.( I like to call it the 'FINAL SMASH'.)I actually have the Kamarin reciep now, and expect to get it in two days... As for guns, none of the guns I've used yet i really like. They're the autogun and zapper. However, the gun I would really like is the Sentenza(yes, I know it sort of suck, but I don't care). I dont have any bombs, so I wouldn't know what I think would be good.

Favorite Weapon.
Like some others, my favorite it the Dread Venom Striker (even though I don't have it yet, but I am working on it).
Some of its benefits include being able to hit an enemy twice with one swing, and, of course, the poison.
Since it has a chance to do poison, that means that their attack, defence, and ability to get healed will be reduced.
So, when you deal poison with it, you inflict more damage with each swing!
On the other hand, the knockback means that unless you have a large enemy (lumber, for instance), or get the enemy into a corner, you will have to keep advancing to hit them.

I personally adore my CTR high Leviathan, as it makes me feel like Link (haha). In strata that I choose not carry it, I always end up feeling naked. :<
The Shivermist Buster is a close second, though. It allows me to safely camp in corners and slowly pick mobs off, one by one. The coward in me loves that.

In terms of use, my favorite weapon is the Warmaster Rocket Hammer... that, or the iron slug.
In terms of artistic design, my favorite weapon is the Divine Avenger and Gran Faust, before the patch that "fixed" the DA's charges going through walls and triggering ghost blocks. The way the charge attack looked on the DA was very very very inspirational to me, and was possibly the largest reason that I stayed in the game. Although the patch destroyed everything that I saw in it, the inspiration that I got from it lives on in many ways... I always imagined that the beams of light that were left were created by the user's creativity and concentration being projected through the sword, and that such a forceful projection was inbued with a sort of justification of action, or in the case of the Gran Faust, un-justification of action. In many ways, I saw the DA as being metaphorical for religious wars, no better than the Gran Faust that it paralleled. Something about the timing and placement of the projectiles struck me hard. Very hard.

Brandish Line+Final Flourish
It's tie between the 5* Brandish Line (Glacius, Combuster, Voltedge) and the Final Flourish. The 5* Brandish swords deal great damage, have decent speed and have a near 100% chance of causing a status effect from their charge. Their charge also has a range which nearly outclasses some guns. The Final Flourish is amazing against beasts and fiends, and not bad against gremlins and undead. Its charge has the potential to cause massive damage (especially with good UV's) and it's speed is good enough to barely get hit at all in tier 3 wolver dens.

... and as a side-note, I have soft spot for the Winmillion too, but I can never find much use for it, so the DVS takes precedence over it.
I dunno.. I like Divine Avengers and Gran Faust. But my favorite weapons are the Brandish 5* series blades.
Combuster, Glacius, Acheron. I think they are very Versatile and better one on one combat with monsters.
