This is the one time I am saddened by the cost.
In most scenarios, I am the energy seller. I like to trade in the energy that I have left over from purchases during promos. Well, right now there are a few Dangerous Hound Coats floating around in the Auction House. Lets see, the cheapest I can buy it for is TWO MILLION CROWNS!?
I can only afford that if I were to pay for $100, or pay $50 and pray that I win a bid war. Can't tell which would be worse.
WTB Dangerous Hound Coat 1,000 crowns.

I feel like OOO wants low ce prices. It lowers the grind time for f2p to get what they want, so they don't quit the game from forever grinding. Not to mention it makes upkeep and uv rolling costlier to p2p people.

Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
I was too poor to do anything with it back then, but I remember one time it was under 2K Crowns per 100 Energy. I can't remember whether that was just after the game was released on Steam or if it was just after they added the Snarbolax. Maybe it was both. I don't know.
I only recently shook the habit of thinking of 100 Energy as 8K Crowns because it stayed at that price for so long after I first joined.

I remember when CE prices
I remember when CE prices were under 4k. Then it slowly rose up to 6k and jumped when there were half elevator cost weekends (Miss those days, but free elevators are awesome). I think missions was the main reason why it continued to rise to around 8k since people just spammed FSC (It used to give around 11k on elite I believe.). Then there were those days when CE was over 9k and I started to take alot of breaks from the game. I don't remember too much after but its a relief seeing CE not so expensive anymore.

CE Prices will never be that cheap again, the reason they were is because there was a ridiculous flood of energy on the market for months after the Preview Event ended and everyone had all their energy that they had ever bought during the preview event returned to them for the game's opening.

CE also took a pretty big dip in price when SK was introduced to Steam. I'm not sure how low they got, but they were preeetty low for a while.
There was this one time where selling energy was higher than buying energy. :D
