I used an alt today to see if it'd still work: http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/3314955328784279432/5B82141CAD9BA812...

Apparently they still let you use the hammer if you got it before the pets update. I thought it'd leave out the coliseum option now, but apparently not.

Well, obviously. Any 4* or 5* item = too good for T1 and T2 = must be put in T3.

Should have said rank 1-*

It's a tutorial rank in the game. The game should disable PvP for that rank entirely.

Ah. Good point. I don't think anyone who has acquired at least a 4* item before a patch that came out 9 months ago is inexperienced, however. Unless they're inactive, of course. But then it's not relevant to them.

The ability to do PvP should still be an award given to those who can beat the easiest tutorial levels ever made. Too lazy for tutorial missions? lol no.

I don't see what use implementing this ban on PvP for recruits would do. Stop new players from "ruining" virtually non-existent games of T1 LD with their inexperience? Equipment limits/requirements stop new players from being able to get into any higher tier matches. They also wouldn't have enough cr to play more than a match or two anyways unless they keep winning all their games which would only happen if their team could carry them. Most players don't even find out about the coliseum until they reach haven anyways. Besides, their inexperience is still going to come out even when they do get into a T2-T3 game, it doesn't really matter when this happens, the only difference is later they could possibly be better equipped. If it's an alt that does have 2*-5* gear, they could just as easily be playing with under-powered gear on their main to the same effect.

BN, on the other hand, has complete different mechanics from the rest of SK, so if a player starts playing/learning as a recruit or a vanguard it makes zero difference. If a player wants to play with an alt that's a recruit, it really won't change how the game would have gone much compared to how it would have gone if they'd played with their main. Any deaths resulting from underestimating your opponent is your own fault. If it's a player trying to use recruit alts for krogmo coins with rigged games, they are losing cr; if it's for profit, you can report them. Also, assuming GBN was still active (sigh... :/) it's much easier to sub by making a quick alt, send it some cr then, boom, you're good to go, instead of having leave, play, and then get reinvited/repromoted, especially if you're at least an officer in your own guild. Why should I have to impose upon all the others waiting to play by having to complete all the 1-* missions?

Finally, OOO recently also fixed the trick of using GH's to get alts into Haven (or so I heard from a friend), so unless you have access to a guild with a Coliseum room, krogmo coins on recruit accounts are worthless until ranked up, even more so if you are planning on trading them for Winterfest boxes/scarves.
