If it was possible, would it be any better as there would be more servers available or something of that sort? I heard that it's cheaper.

While having servers in the Andromeda Galaxy would marginally improve latency for the astronauts visiting there, the cost to provide those servers would be astronomically high.

We still have 3,750,000,000 years until our galaxy and Andromeda will collide due to blueshift. It seems like Knights don't age, however.
We need to talk about AWS, as going through this thread is similar to traversing through a jungle to a complete stranger.
This is why my faith in the SK community is almost gone. Someone tries to make a serious thread and it just ends up getting derailed to oblivion.
That said, I don't think OOO would need to change servers if they fixed some of their netcode. If they find time to come with promos up the wazoo, they should also find time to fix their game.

Yes. I think that switching to Andromeda would be a good move. No, I don't think that OOO should just blindly jump into it. Perhaps letting a few others do that first, or putting up a small bit on Andromeda as a test first would be a wiser move, just to make sure there aren't any issues with it.
I am not entirely familiar with the implications of moving to Andromeda either, but I'm sure that someone on the development team is, and that OOO could hold a meeting to determine the best move. In fact, I'm sure that when the time comes, they WILL hold that meeting and determine what is best. They here meaning the developers or Sega or whomever determines these kinds of things. But we the people discussing the game and playing it are not in a position to make that kind of decision, despite our right as shareholder to advocate it-- hence, the ridiculous puns.
If anyone should test a server connection to Andromeda first, it's Valve or Mojang.

And I'm quite sure that if its really as viable as it seems then they will, which is why I say that knowing google, it will probably be a good move on OOO's part but that waiting is the better option.

I don't think its currently possible for OOO to move a server to the Andromeda galaxy, as it is situated around 2,538,000 light years away from Earth. You aren't a extraterrestrial, are you?
