According to the Wiki, Pods for additional Sprites can be purchased at the Supply Depot ...

When I go to the Supply Depot NPC and search all the categories, I do not find the Pods. What am I doing wrong?

My interest is:
How much to the Pods cost

If you have multiple Sprites, can you change them at will (between levels) or are they bound?
If they are not bound, are harnesses bound to each sprite?

As a sandbox/experimental player, just seems like so many variations in configuration that each of my three characters should have three sprites all configured different...(ya, call me crazy).

Sprite Pods cost 2100 Energy.

You can change sprites between levels, and you can use all of your harnesses for any sprite, they can even share a Harness.

You might have to reach a

You might have to reach a certain rank before the pods would appear in your Supply Depot. I know certain items and equipment is locked until you reach specific ranks, so maybe that applies to pods, too.

see Battle Sprite, Harness

Some of these questions are answered at the wiki articles Battle Sprite and Harness.

Sprite pods are in the category "Sprite Gear" in the Supply Depot. Can you see this category? They cost 2,100 energy, as said above.

Sprites are bound to you, meaning that you cannot trade them. This has nothing to do with whether you can change them between levels. Yes, you can, just like any other equipment.

All harnesses that a knight owns are usable by any of that knight's sprites. In other words, harnesses are per-knight, not per-sprite. Your knight should never own more than four harnesses (one for each damage type).

Yes, there are many configurations. You don't even need to try them on multiple knights. You can try them on a single knight, to save money on harnesses.

My mistake

Thanks Bopp, once again.

No I can't see the category at my level yet, I'm sure it will be there once I've done the Mission to bind a sprite to me.

My mistake, I was not interpreting 'binding' properly. I (somewhat stupidly) was assuming I could not swap any gear without losing what I was currently using when changing. 'Binding' only controls trade with others, not the use of the equipment oneself.

So... i should be using the Forge to upgrade unbound weapons until I get something really good as a UV and then keep it for myself ... selling all the ones that were not quite as good...

Yes, I did read the wiki pages, they did not include prices I believe, hence the question.

forging

if an item appears in the forge screen, you carried it with you on a mission, and that means it is bound. you can make new weaons with the alchmey machines, and then sell the ones without good uv's, but once you equip a weapon, it is bound to you. there are ways to unbind a weapon, but that usually costs more than you will make selling it.

right

Yeah, before you can forge an item, you must heat it. To heat it, you must equip it. As soon as you equip it, it is bound to you. You can unbind items, but that requires a hefty fee at Vise, and is rarely recommendable (unless you can find gullible newbies).

I think that you were talking about crafting, not forging, anyway. (Forging doesn't give you UVs.) You can craft 2- and 3-star items without ever forging, heating, or equipping them. So you can craft those to get UVs, and sell your surplus to other players, without paying unbinding fees.

I'm glad to help someone who takes the time to read the wiki. :)
