Seerus is seen using a sword and a bomb when you fight him though Seerus 's mask is gunner based, so now I'm confuzzled. Please explain.
Seerus Mask Logic
You get an amazing sword, an amazing bomb, and an amazing gunner helmet from the OCH mission. It covers all three weapons.
I don't see the problem.
The problem is that he's trying to apply logic to Spiral Knights.
Ya know... If you cut the Seerus mask in half (5*) each half looks like a gun... Ah-ha! Though I also want to see your guys' thoughts on this as well.
Seerus answer: it's for the sake of game design. O:CH grants the player one bomb line, one sword line, and a gunslinger helm line. Would be a bit unfair with two of one kind and no gunslinger items, no?
Krakob nailed it.
But realistically- how do we know that gremlins use gear the same way we do? Perhaps when Seerus uses the mask it offers some benefit that improves his vision on us, or makes him faster, or even improves his ability to bomb somehow. We don't know that Seerus's mask is the exact same as our own for that matter. Perhaps his is the equivalent of a volcanic demo helmet? Ours are only recreations that bear a terrible resemblance to the original.
Makes you wonder if there's a history with the mask that we aren't entirely privy to, like it was a gift from another gremlin or even a fiend.
he probably found it one day while dumpster diving
@Fehzor
Didn't Vise make the mask?
Yes, but it's obviously based on Seerus' mask since y'know, it is made with parts of it and looks entirely like it.
Well, when you wear Seerus's Mask, it causes you to feel panicked because you probably look like a Jack-the-Ripper wannabe and might get arrested for disturbing the peace. This causes you to be more trigger-happy.
