I've been on hiatus for the past couple months, and now I'm getting back into the game (and am still kicking myself over missing the torodrone event). I've caught up on most of the minor tweaks since I left, but the one thing I haven't gotten an answer for was whether or not the radient drop rate issue had been fixed. Has it?

before and after
Before the recent update that increased the radiant drop rate, I was getting about 3 radiants per FSC trip. Now I get about 18 or 21. So things are better. I'll let you decide whether you think that "better" is good enough.
Edit: You can also find radiants in danger missions now.

I got over 50 in two Vana
I got over 50 in two Vana runs today, so it's definitely increased from before. Not what it used to be, but still better.

you still forced to do vana or arcade near end of the depth in order to get some radiant..

On rare occasion, they will drop on depth 25, as well. But I've only personally had it happened 2 or 3 times since that update.

This isent a error, SK did this on perpouse.... I am not gonna explain why since most of us got over it like 4-5 months ago.

Floerail, I'm willing to bet that your friends/guildmates aren't doing it exclusively for Radiants. The 9k crowns per run is a pretty great reason to keep at it, too.

Not really
The drop rate has increased marginally per fsc run, it has moved from the 5-10 to 15 to 20 range. The grinding has reduced by about half but still, would you rather spend two full days of grinding fsc for just 1 5* heated to level 10? It takes 453 radiants to fully heat a weapon to level 10 or 403 average radiants per 5* weapons which equates to about 20-30 fsc runs. Its up to you to decide. As for me, I will wait for a new update for the Core Strata instead of wasting time haplessly trying to get 1 5* weapon to level when i have WRH,Combuster,DVS, Levi,3 alchemers, AP,Blackhawk, 3 Bombs and shields and armor to heat to level 10.

Sort of but not really.
You can find them starting on D26 with about a 30-40% chance. They're more prevalent on D27/D28, with about a 60-70% chance of finding over shinnings.
In other words, its still mostly an unfeasible amount of grinding to produce gear in a timely manner without EXTREME MERCHANTING ACTION, but it is more possible now.
