What forumers have you inspired you to be better at something in this lovely place? What forumers changed something in you? How did an individual help you improve your skills at "forum thingies"? Which forumers do yo admire the most?

1. The whole forums:
Basically, I learnt most of proper English and how to write on these forums. It's not like that I didn't know English 3 years ago, but doe, my writing was [scrap].

2. Luguiru/Asukalan:
For scolding me for my first suggestion, and showing me how REAL suggestion should work and be presented.

3. Psychorazer:
Helped greatly with my "sentence building" issue I had. (He did it without knowing, was just observing *Pssh, stalking* him.)

4. Hexzyle:
Helps me realize everyday that I am not a Computer. <3

5. Feller:
Taught me how to keep my cool, really. All amore for you Feeeeeler

6. Retequizzle/Perronius:
Do I have to explain why? They just... The way they discuss things is beyond my poor comprehensive English.

7. Shuichi/Tevvokia:
The least thing they did is giving me the will and spirit to draw Cartoon'ish things again. Best thing they did is making me buy a Digital Drawing Board.

8. Contri Pony:
Gave me the desire for holding an 1v1 LD tournament, and SOMEHOW, it worked! \o/

9. Blandaxt:
For proving how someone can change from "Bad" status to "Good and Improving" one.

10. Mawa:
For showing me the truth behind all things. *wink*

11. Njthug/Digicom/Nimdalo:
How much did these guys spend to give us an amazing bunch of competitions and games? Applauds

DRAGNEEL HATES ME

Bopp is a model citizen.. Zeddy was my bro.. Krakob is an adorable kid from I think it was Sweden? But I imagine him as a chubby blonde European kid, and it makes me smile... Feller was hilarious while he lasted, and I loved him to death... Tsubasa-no-me was a good friend and was very bright, as was Kalaina though I never got to know her well. None of the other lockdown people really stuck with me that much.

Yeah, Bopp is a true gentleman. Not once have I seen him reply in a non-seerus manner, nor have I ever seen him be even slightly rude. Other than that, I admire Seiran, as well. He writes real quality posts and has plenty of manners. Zeddy has always been a role model to me, extending beyond just how one acts on the forums. I think that's about it for me, although I must say that I turly like many others on here.

Probably because I don't feel like I'm doing anything extraordinary; I just post when I've got something smart to say, and hope that it means something to someone.

Anyway.. generally speaking, I like anyone who's willing to make a point with some weight behind it. There's a huge difference between "you're wrong" and "you're wrong and this is why". There are plenty of people I enjoy talking to, or reading their posts. I'm afraid to list anyone because I'd probably forget someone.

Rommil - He often made made very well-thought out posts that were lucid, helpful, polite and informative. He was a really big inspiration who showed me how good the forums could be.

Tevokkia - Her art and stories (When are you going to write some more, Tev?) made me start paying attention to the Treasure Vault.

Why should you care? If it makes you happy, you inspired me to think about certain things from another perspective. Some people will never agree with something that is right no matter how hard you try to teach them. They are blinded by their own ignorance and false beliefs that the light can never enter their heart. I learnt from you to let people speak freely no matter how wrong they sound. So thanks.

Luguiru the Suggestion King
We didn't quite agree on some things, but as far as suggestions went, Luguiru knew his crap. And his posts were hilarious. We can only hope to get someone as accomplished at suggesting stuff as Luguiru was.

Zeddy, Shardian Knight
Proving for posterity that you don't need top tier gear if you've got refined guts and science. Lately he's also become "Zed Dy the Science Guy", because of all the numbers he brings to the discussion.

I appreciate anyone who can have a civilized discussion, and be rational.

Doc Spacebar is one of my favorite forumers, as I've stated on multiple occasions.

Zeddy has contributed much to these forums, by way of testing and more

Bopp for their guides and work in New recruits

NJ and Digi for their contests, which are entirely player driven and supported(financially)

Krakob as well for work in testing, and generally good humored LD posts

Draycos for being a dragon, and a friend. Also, able to string together coherent thoughts help :P

This forum has had many quality people, and I'd imagine will continue to have them. We will always have trolls, and those who rise to the bait. Coliseum will always have its battles, GD will always have its "not your blog" posts, and New Recruits will always have "how to change forum pic". These are constants, and kudos to the people who tolerate them, and still help the new players.

To all who work to keep the game going, and maintain a friendly forum atmosphere, thank you. You are the ones fighting to keep it alive. To those who insist on raging that it's dying... you aren't helping.

My OP is about the people that "inspired Me", not the best forumers by everyone. This thread is like it's counterpart in the Coliseum. We aren't talking about the "best fourmer" but rather about the people who inspired me, you, him and her. Well of course, if you think my opinion about you matters that much, then...

If I can recognize your name inside and outside the forums, then you've left an impression on me that bypasses my terrible memory with names.

Skyguarder and Thunder-The-Bright are names that I look for when I'm looking over the suggestions forum. Fehzor also has brilliant ideas, but just doesn't post all that frequently to that forum.

Arcknightdelta is a knight whose experience goes a little to their head, but overall has important insights within their usual walls of text.

Midnight-Dj is pretty much my polar opposite, which is neat in of itself. When they're posting posts(opposed to song lyrics), I get a little peek at what an alternative version of me would look like, and in that sense, learn something about myself.

Blueflood is just in general a giver. Giving us videos, free shadow lair runs, all that great stuff.

Estrogen Ma- or, err, Perronius is wonderful at keeping calm and giving us a good background to work with. Strong posts with plenty of wisdom. On the same boat, Seiran is great at holding down conversations and giving experience-based examples based on their time in the Free-to-Play game industry.

It's hard for me to not notice Shamanalah based on how much I just like how their name flows. They have great insights and are generally helpful.

Dibsville likes to help new players, but also has a strong personality that I respect.

Pipipipipi is just a forumer that confuses me. Honorable mention, I suppose.

There are plenty of you other out there that inspire me, but others have pretty much covered why.
And Ceecee, I'm not forgetting you. You inspire me but that's more from our personal chats, not anything here on the forums.

Ahh. A loving thread. So rare.

Hexy, Papaya. These are the forumers I respect. They make/made the forums look so fun! They gave funny, kind, fair critiques on suggestions that made me not feel horrified to post there. Hexzyle with his/her Not Magic thread inspired me to make my Not Science thread. I love those guys.

Pi*5 you rule. You were the first fan fiction I ever truly liked, I wish the fic didn't have to end (Life of a Snarbolax) you are the reason I hae been thinking about Fan Fictions, and on whether or not to post them (We have WAAAY to many).

Sandwhich-Potato... What can I say? He was the only person who posted in response to my first suggestion. He was the first reply to my "Hey Im new! Hope you'll like me!" thread. He's been a very nice guy.

These are the me/women I respect. Thank you for your time. I'm off to post some random crud somewhere.

Ah, screw it.. I said I wouldn't, but I am.

Luguiru and his work in the Suggestions board led me to make a hobby out of giving feedback and suggestions of my own- and for other people. While his "has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like" style of "random" humor got old sometimes, it was a break from the emotionless and serious atmosphere in that board.

Bitsbee for making me appreciate one-liner posts... and how to do them well. Their posts have never been annoying; at worst, they're fluff, and at best, they're funny.

I remember plenty of philosophical discussions in and out of the game with Fehzor, whom I hope finds happiness eventually.

Perronius, and in the same vein, Zeddy, always surprise me by providing a lot of meaningful posts... without being explicitly antagonistic. [something I've been struggling with.. which is why I've been sticking to shorter posts.]

Petater and Sciger have been good friends in and out of the game and forums.

A lot of the veteran Nights' Watch members.

Fangel, Hexzyle, Krakob, Dibsville, Doctorspacebar, Psychodestroyer, Retequizzle, Dragneel, Midnight-DJ, Pi(x5), Tersakaff, Thunderbog, Asukalan, and Quote are all names that stick out to me. We may not have always agreed, but I like to think of them as friends- or at the very least, people I respect.

I'm not inspired by anyone one. I've seen my fair share of forum users in my time on the Don’t Starve discussions. So for me to come out and say anyone one of you guys are different to what I have seen before would be a lie. But being here and reading the things certain people say in response to mainly heated discussions, by keeping a level head, has been something I have learned to respect. So for me rather than say I am inspired by someone I would say I have found a certain respect for that person. Those are

Only people I can think of is Zeddy (for his number crunching and doing everything I was too lazy to do), Canozo (For his amazing videos and epic computer) and Severage (Because he didn't give up with his idea and kept at for a year)

My list of those that inspired me:

Special honorable players:
Zeddy: Zeddy has always made good suggestions. In fact, Zeddy has contributed a lot to the game.

Bopp: Bopp has always been a mature forumer. Even when it came to arguments; he/she would be able to argue without any flaming and such.

Fangel: A respectful player that I admire.

Brother-Zeke: Of course, Zeke is my guild master. He has been a kind guild master.

Hexzyle: Hexzyle may have criticized my ideas alot, but he sure is helpful into making the idea more better.

Luguiru: I have never forgot about this legendary box who went by the name, "Luguiru", even though he commented on almost every single suggestion before.

Honorable players:
