Alright guys. There was a squabble in one of my LD games today, when we had both Sprunket and Darkcub against us. I want to solve this. What is your denfinition of Pro in SK, and what does it mean to you? Write and post your answer down at the bottom in the comments section, and well, that's it!
Defenition of SK "Pro" in Lockdown

A "pro" to me is someone who consistently beats opponents who outclass him

if your name rhymes with the smalmighty gontri then you are pro

If you can go through a whole match without dying/getting hit, but still hitting others and capping.

pro is depend on how s/he can lead group to victory~ not a bunch of damage collector who just skip cap to get highest number in board.

This will vary per person.
Most people who will call themselves "pro" I wouldn't call "pro" under my definition. Granted, I haven't seen the competitive nature that is guild lockdown, but I'm basing my definitions on what I have seen.
A "pro" depends on the class. A striker is on the front lines, so they should get hit. A guardian is supposed to protect teammates, so they're going to get hit. Only recon should not get hit, as they should distance themselves from their targets. In a similar sense, strikers should be dealing the most damage, and guardians should be staying alive the longest.
"Pro" will also depend on how you co-operate with you and the other team. A professional (which pro is short for) will not go about spouting insults in the faces of other players. Stating something that you did is great, but stomping on the other players is not.
A "pro" will also point out what is happening to teammates, and try to direct them to certain locations. If a designated person is to take up this job, then it takes the pressure off others, but if you run from a point you know will be capped, let your team know.
In my own definition, a "pro" is someone who prioritizes capturing and holding points, and doesn't resort to spawncamping the other team once they have all the points. A "pro" should also be able to compete while not using standard weapons and armor. Killed me with a callahan? A point of respect to you. Slaughtered me with a dread venom striker? Good job! Toppled me with a Triglav? . . . Yeah you get the point.
But I think the most defining feature of a "pro" is someone who doesn't think that bigger numbers are better. If the other team is frozen, it is against your best interest to attack them and thus unfreeze them, even if it just increases your damage meter ever so slightly. A true "pro" utilizes teamwork in any and every game.

Considering nobody has found a way to monetize lockdown yet the word "pro" is simply being used to mean good, that's all. Prescribe all the definitions you want, but everybody is going to be pro for different reasons. Darkcub because he can get high damage scores, Sprunket because he's good at sneak attacks.

irl, professional gamers actually make money off of competitive games. The kind of people who go to local tourneys, make profit off of that, then use that money to go to larger tourneys to make even more money.
but you're right; nobody makes real money off of lockdown :;
-----
If you:
- do combat thinking about your opponent's possible moves
- look for opponent patterns and try to take advantage of them
- see 1v1s in terms of mindgames and predictions instead of just "spam", "autotarget", "weapon" etc
- take responsibility for your losses (you didn't play good enough/you were outplayed) instead of blaming "spam", "autotarget", "weapon"
...Then you're probably pretty good in combat, and have a true competitive mindset.
If you:
- think in terms of winning the actual objective
- realize what choices close or create point gaps better (where to cap for most effect)
- see the game in terms of what controls point gaps instead of "number of caps"/"how much damage" at the end
- play to win, not for stats (ex: if you're camping 1/3 of the other team while the other 2/3 have control of the map, you're not playing to win).
...Then you're probably good at the actual game of lockdown. You don't have to be good at combat to be good at the map control game, but being good at combat can help with that, too.

In a game like this no one person can defeat an entire team (unlike the unrealistic COD games)
A true Pro is someone who works together with his team to win.
It takes all kinds to win but if they can't work together then they have none to blame but themselves.
A team of good cooperative players can hold their ground for ages.

So you did make this!
Speaking of the definition of a "Pro" I have to agree with everything listed above. Though I thought I'd add some stuff of my own.
-A "Pro" has 2 meanings in my opinion, one meaning they practically do this as a job, the second meaning they're just quite good at the game.
-A "Pro" still complains as all do, but only complains about certain things such as lag or connection issues but in a mature way instead of "SPAM NOOB WITH AT I'M GONNA [insert curse word of choice here]ING GONNA BEAT THE [insert curse word of choice here] OUT OF YOU, YOU PIECE OF [insert curse word of choice here].
-A "Pro" is someone who'll applaud you for your kills and battles with him regardless of the outcome.
Erm, so, yeah.
A pro was the great Rubyeclipse, he brought turmoil and fear into the minds of all who challenged his throne on the lockdown leaderboards.
Long live the king of Jempire. Hoorah !

Motivation, training, sacrifice, talent.
In sk, you can not define who is a pro - gamer because of the connection.
We should all play LAN to know who is doing the best and of course without AA! The base of ld is playing with his head and not with the aid referred!
Hardcore gamer, also translated as "avid gamer" means a player who is involved heavily in a video game and seeks competition and performance via video games, mostly in multiplayer mode. The hardcore gamer uses a lot of video games, either in time or number of games. He is looking for the challenge, difficulty, competition. He can spend his days trying to get better scores alone or in teams, and fully explore a game to find its subtleties.
We all have a hidden talent, just work it! Everyone can become pro!

I was thinking more along the lines of...
-Someone who uses too much time and money on the game
-Someone VERY lucky with UVs.
-Someone that secretly hacks and no one notices.

Oh. I have 2 of those 3. I guess i'm just PO. (order of letters does not necessarily equate to points listed in your post)
"Pro" -
Being on the same level as someone who gets paid for doing something they are good at.
