I have to say, those GMs are prompt! A couple of days ago I stumbled on an issue that prevented me from accessing the forms or logging into the wiki, so I sent a support request. It wasn't long before I got a reply that listed a possible work-around (which didn't work, unfortunately) and that the problem was forwarded to the people who know how to fix it. Not to long afterward...it works again! (Which is obvious. I wouldn't be posting this if it didn't work!)

But it's not just this case, either! I've had various problems, either in the game or with something else, and I usually get my problem solved shortly afterward. Once, I was silly when they updated OCH and moved the Mask Fragment to a level that comes after the boss. I was all afraid that the material hadn't spawned correctly and I had lost a bunch of energy for nothing. I sent a support request, and I got reminded of the change...I've never skimmed patch notes since. :P

So...I decided to make a thread to salute the customer support for Spiral Knights. It's been better than what I've experienced at other games. (Where I've needed to wait days to get any sort of reply, and usually what I get is all formal and stiff.)

They do very well. Although I've never really needed any, from what I've heard through others that they've got great customer support.

*Appreciation

Everything I hear about SK's support team is good. I rarely see or hear about such great care taken to ensure a game's player base is running smoothly.

A shame the coding team is sluggish.

They really are nice people

Once a squad and I sort of... Glitched me out in ghosts in the machine (in such a way that I was behind the monster gate in the battle arena on the first floor), and I sent a support ticket in because my team was too busy laughing at me behind bars to kill the last enemy.

They both ended up going AFK and going down, so I just meandered over to the elevator and continued to the next floor without them having a second word about it, forgetting about the support ticket in the process.

Lo and behold, as I'm about to walk on the party button for the Big Iron, GM Galene pops up. Ceecee and I were all "This is awkward..."
But they were really cool about it, and after I tried to comically explain what happened they simply asked, "So it's fixed?" and when we said yes they waved and were off.

There was one time me and a random player hit all the switches in one room in the Factory themed floors, and the door wouldn't open. I send a support ticket on the wrong character, remember after submitting the ticket, added that bit in, and they found our party without a hitch (and also came pretty quickly). Turns out that gate did not like the ban hammer or something..., the GM had to teleport us over.
