This is the code of our team! Team HONOR focuses not on brawn but on brains. I, for one, am sickened by the simple yet ridiculously effective pounding that is administered by most LD teams, let it be guild teams or PUGs. Although Lockdown may not clearly lend itself to strategy, there is definitely a very deep amount of strategy that has yet to be tapped into.
That is Team HONOR's goal: To tap into the strategical side of LD. Help us achieve this goal, I suggest that all members use the agreed upon voice-chat program, so that we can smoothly and efficiently relay intelligence and orders. (Right now, we will probably use Skype.) No, you don't need a microphone to be a part of this team.
What we do in battle
If we don't have enough skilled players for a GvG match, we'll try to sync play. (I.e. get ready to play LD all at once, or right before another member's match is about to start.) (Sync playing will probably result in us being against each other most of the time, but this is alright. Fighting amongst each other will help us find our weaknesses.)
If we have at 3 or more guildmates on one team in the LD match, the idea is that one of us is chosen as a leader. It's up to the leader to ensure that the most effective tactics are used. Each match, the role of leader will pass to another member, so everyone will get to practice.
In the case that we have enough willing members for a GvG match, we'll go around Haven in search of a willing opponent. For GvG matches, all guildmates in the match will vote for the leader.
Anyone interested in leading must remember this: A good leader will listen to his troops. If they have an idea that they feel is better than the leader's idea, speaking up is encouraged. It's up to the leader to judge all plans fairly.
Who we are looking for
We're looking for anyone, really. Like I've said above, I am not looking for someone with particularly strong gear. If you're just a casual player or maybe completely new, we'll probably take you aboard. Part of this team's goal is to find good players, even if that means making them!
At the same time, we are also looking for more skilled players. For now, we are mostly going to be playing T2 Lockdown, but T3 players are welcome as well. We need skilled players to lead us into battle, carry out daring maneuvers, and show new players the ropes.
When we meet
Although any day is a great day for battle, Fridays are the best! I am aiming to bring teammates online at 6:00 PM (PST) on Fridays, if not sooner. There is no requirements - we'll go with whoever we is available. Keep in mind that I am a US player, but we can use the European server if it helps our team as a whole.
How to Join
If you wish to join, copy-paste this form into a reply to this thread, then fill it out. I much prefer that you post in this thread rather than mailing me, because then I can see your application from anywhere. (However, I'll be flexible. You can mail me if you have to. I just can't guarantee that I'll see your application as soon.)
Note that answers like "Don't know" are fine. The application starts after the line. If you get sent an guild invitation, it will be from a guild called "Brothers of Eternity", because this team is a subdivision of that guild. (Namely, the Fire subdivision.)
EDIT: Please note that you'll be invited to join a guild. Making that clear here since I forgot to.
