God Damn it OOO, why? Why would you have to do this?
I though it would be something different -- an actual pink colour toupee. But once again it's white! Why is it white? What's wrong with the blacks, yellows, reds and pinks?

Divine Toupee is white, Polar Toupee is white too, Frosty Toupee is white and Lovely Toupee is white again! I know the white looks differnet, nobody is the same, some are whiter and some are more 'in-depth' type of white, but they are all white! Just like Chinese, Indians and Malaysians are all Asians despite different skin tone!!!! (I know, awkward comparison, but my point stays, have a sense of humour ;3)

Why not make it pink, just like the colour scheme of this promotion, everything is pretty much pink. ;_;
We also need a Fabulous Aura instead of some green viney looking twists.

I like that Rabbit Monster Pocket though, drop price already >:)

Oh really now ?

There are different tans of the color white in the toupees (Ex: Divine and lovely toupee). Frosty toupee isn't fully colored as white even. Though some parts of the texture shows some white. Divine toupee is completely colored as white, polar has an arctic-blue shade and lovely toupee is gray-ish and white. Though I do agree that the toupees look the same, the only difference is the color tan of the toupees.

If you actually read the post carefully you'd know that I've already said the different white-coloured-toupees do have a different tone. That still doesn't change the fact that their main colour is whitish. I know it has something to do with SK's colourisation codings but... ;_;

I want a pink one!

Yeah, looks like toupees use the secondary color (as shown on the wiki), they could make exceptions like they do with the prismatic one though

It's also why shadow/surge are the same color.

Well, as a chinese my self, there is really nothing to be mad about, we are all in theory asians, the reason for that we all live on a continent called 'Asia'. Just like how Italians, french, germans are all Europeans despite using different languages.

They might be all asian but the history, culture, language (sort of), and lifestyle of every different group is completely different.
Lumping us all together and then comparing us with different hues on white is very demeaning and ignorant. And while I see what the OP was trying to get at; there are tons of other more accurate, and appropriate, comparisons that he could've made. Our differences are more than skin deep you know! :(

As much as I wished that all the human races can understand each other better, it is simply not possible, 21th century has given birth to a generation of selfish little bastards. If you really want to get rid of racism(might as well sexism while you are at it) as a whole, the entire world must be educated first, why certain race do certain thing in a certain way. And that is going to take a long, long time, a bit like the SK gunner update.

Some people will always be ignorant (like OP), you can't help it, just like you can't stop the wind from blowing or the leaves from falling. We can either ignore these people or argue with them until they acknowledge the fact that some setereotype is not okay, but for the most part, you really just shouldn't care about these people at all. They simply don't worth it.

Okay, that is enough derailing for one day, back to the scarf colour debate, the way I see it, since I never use any accessory unless they are found in a prize box or very cheap on the AH. I can't be the judge of it. But I have to admit OOO overdid it on the reskin thing.

I still don't see how can you take offense in the OP's comparision. What has Culture, History and Lifestyle to do with comparing colors? The OP is saying that the toupees have different names but the same color and he wants them to be like how Asians are called Asians but they are different in skin tone. I am "Asian" myself and I ask for further explanation on how you feel demeaned by that.

Rant: Back to the original Rant

At this rate the OP should just change the Thread Name to Rant: Human Skin Colors and just leave it at that.

But back to the original topic, I don't really like the color of the toupee either, though they're all recolors in the end, a pink toupee may have not been bad at all, though it could have been slight overkill due to how pink the other costumes already look. I guess for me, in the end it doesn't matter as much, whatever OOO's has to do to pay their employees in end.
