So post your loadouts, and people can critique em. We can help each other out and give advice, as well as spread good ideas for combos etc.

So I'll get the ball rolling:

WHB/VORTEX:
the concept of this load out is to have a wild hunting blade used on conjunction with a graviton vortex. The graviton vortex is charged and places, and then the WHB is charged and used on the mass of monsters in the middle of the vortex. Recommended armour would be ctr for bombs. Alternatively a sudaruska could be used instead of the WHB.

Hmmmmm

Change the Name; it should be "Rate that Loadooout!" or weapon combos since your only talking about weapon loadouts. Also specify the area to be used in if needed.

Anyway here's another popular one;

Voltedge + Electron Vortex - FSC, and other areas with large groups -
Vortex groups zombies (bonus of shock), voltedge's charge shocks lots of the zombies in the vortex and dealing dmg. Then repeat until most of the zombies are dead. The shocked zombies deal dmg to itself and to other zombies near it (and when in a vortex, lots). The Voltedge guarantees that most of the zombies in the vortex will be shocked, though you should vortex them again to keep them together for max dmg.
Can be used with other weapon charges, vials, and bombs (Shivermist Buster or Venom Veiler, which are also popular in FSC) for maximum pwnage.
You can also substitute the Voltedge with that Shock-Haze-bomb-which-name-escapes-me-at-the-moment to inflict shock easily, but for less overall damage. However be careful when doing this when a Trojan appears.
CTR of both the Voltedge/Shock-Haze-Bomb and the (Electron) Vortex is absolutely necessary, but CTR low from leveling to 5 is usually enough.

My review; 9/10 Shreds crowds like a dream. But inaccessibility (Kromo Coins) is rather upsetting. I only wish I had a vortex and voltedge. :P

Here's a loadout I've been playing with

The Knockback loadout

This loadout is Based around keeping all enemies at maximum distance using knockback, shield bumping and bashing.

Supernova
Valiance
Volcanic Pepperbox
Full chaos armour
Grand Tortoise shield (or any other torto shield)
Gunner damage and ASI trinkets and perk

The basic concept is to keep everything at maximum distance through switch-shooting between Supernova and Valiance.

  • This is a versatile loadout because all your weapons are normal damage.
  • Anything that gets through the knockback zone of the Supernova gets pushed back into it by the Valiance knockback.
  • Anything that gets in your face gets knocked back by your constant shield bumping.
  • If a large group of enemies get in your face use the Torto shields awesome shield bash to scatter them, then immediately dash backwards and continue spamming Supa+Val.
  • Volcanic Pepperbox is used for DPS on things like trojans, slag guards, giant lichen, bosses. Also useful for knocking back trojans if they pin you.
  • With this loadout you can pretty much march forwards while keeping everything at a safe distance or pinned against a wall. The Decreased move speed from the torto shield actually helps with this because it helps keep pace with the enemies you're knocking back so you don't overshoot your Supernova shots. You might also want to equip a nitro or sudaruska as well for confined spaces where supernova knockback and pepperbox charging is too risky.

    @Dutch, also; Faust!

That actually seems like a pretty good idea, if done right you could potentially not even have risk of taking damage. The only problems is I think it might be a bit slow to just pepper enemies with normal-type gunfire, and also in areas where there is forced close quarters it could be dangerous.

I just thought of a loadout, I haven't actually tried this yet though.

    Curse Technician
The idea of this loadout is to spam Faust charges to continuously inflict curse, as curse is arguably one of the strongest statuses in the game.

    -Faust
    -Faust
-Optional sidearm (such as a gun)
-Divine set (or any other armour that gives equivalent curse resist)
    -Barbarous thorn shield
    -Sword CTR trinkets

With this set, you can keep your enemies cursed by continuously charge-spamming Faust charge attacks. Faust and not Gran Faust was chosen as it has a significantly lower charge time. With the Divine set, your curse resist will be enough that on the rare occasion that you self-inflict curse, it will only curse one weapon and will last around 30 seconds. If your Faust is cursed, then you can switch to the other. If you are then cursed again, the new curse will replace the old curse, meaning that still only one of your Fausts will be cursed. The optional sidearm is useful for hitting switches, boxes, etc and also to lower chances that one of your fausts will be cursed. The BTS is to give your charges extra damage, and the trinkets are obviously to enable you to charge-spam faster.

    - This loadout is probably more suited to gremlin levels, especially Deconstruction Zones or arenas.
    - The charge bullet of the faust also has good knockback and can penetrate through mobs of enemies, making it good for crowd control.
    - It is mostly useless against undead/fiends and useless in fsc.

This loadout is mostly just for fun, and again I have never actually tried it, just an idea. I have a Gran Faust and a full set of curse resist armour, so I might try getting this loadout, but with one GF and one faust.
