Do they still exist? I've been playing for a long time now and i am familiar with the fact that you could very very rarely find weapons or armour in prize boxes. I can remember finding a shard bomb in Red Carpet Runaround on 2 occasions, a wolver coat in Garden of Goo and a skelly mask(can remember the level). So has anyone found any gear recently or was it removed from the game? screenshots would be nice too

As i thought, I've had a brief search through all the release notes and haven't found any mention of it. The wiki page still states that equipment is a rare drop but unless anyone can show otherwise i think it was sneakily removed at some point.

I left it there in the wiki because it is much more difficult to prove that something is doesn't exist.
Pretty much no one has seen them since the forge update with the exception of one forum name I do not recognize. I'm a bit skeptical about the report though. Everyone I talk to in-game reports the same lack of weapon/armor/shield drops.

Yeah I'm inclined not to believe the post since there was no screenshot evidence and lets face it this is the kinda stuff you screen shot. It would be nice if a GM could clarify the matter for us.
Haven't seen anyone mention they got one lately. There was a thread a few days ago and nobody saw one either.
