I have to disagree. Yeah, their really is not "better" loadout for PvE, but PvP is a completely different meta.
The loadout is pretty solid, but why Polaris.

Why not Polaris. They already have two swords with different purposes and a great quick gun. Polaris gives terrific crowd control.
The only thing I think you might want to consider is switching to Chaos or BKC+Ancient Plate/Shadowsun/Snarbolax to increase the power of your guns.
People may not really like what I am about to say, but I guess there really is no loadout that is 'better' than others. Anything can be good if used correctly. It may not be done as efficiently, but just as effectively.
