A feeling that I haven't felt for over two years.

So, today I decided to be a complete nutjob, and go to a D28 poison robo arena with nothing but proto armor, volcanic plate shield, and the 3* version of the hammer. I was able to clear all three rounds of the arena, but this isn't the point. I hit the elevator, and you hear the sound millions of times; the little 5 second clip of music that plays while the bonus wheel spins. Hearing that music after my accomplishment really hit me, I sat back in my chair and listen more to the music that plays on your way up from the core, I really got that feeling that "you did something awesome", that I haven't felt for years in this game.

Have any of you had these moments?

Maybe my feat was not as awesome but I once played with a dead party during a T2 Gremlin danger room. All I had was a proto bomb, a vitasuit, and a mining helm (no shield). For the moment they posed a threat as I'd bait and bomb. The stun gave the advantages. And as for the floors prior, I had made a point to collect enough Mecha Knight kits for emergency situations. I bombed to the point where the gremlins retreated. And as I was reviving none at the time, I summoned my mecha knights one at a time to fight while I bombed. They tore'em up good.

I have no mouth and I need to scream

Before I mained gunslinging, I used swords. As you can imagine, it was incredibly boring. Well it was until I finally decided to take on fsc with a dread venom striker.

Any gear was allowed, just as long as I only strictly used the sword. After finally completing it including vanaduke himself I swore there was nothing that could top it from using swords, which is why I hardly use mine today.

Mind you this was long before we had sprites, the chaos buff, shield bash and dash.
