Do we know anything about the Morai Wars other than that we defended Isora, our homeworld, from a group called the Morai? Or does the development team not give us much info on that?

The Morai are a group/race and not a location or such, as the Iron costumes describe assassinations of high-profile Morai, indicating that they're also not generic cliche clones.

The devs really didn't have the time or money to develop that, however, I can give you my own brand fanfic lore if you wanted.
Isora was the homewolrd of spiral knights, for 4000 thousands years they lived in prosperity, until one day when a new totalitairan government, known as the 'spiral confederacy' took over the planet with an iron fist. After 2 centuries of brutal reign, a group of resistance known as the 'sons of Isora', this leads to the first Isoran civil war, the resistance made up of Oceanus, Arphodite, Eurydice, Hyperion and Atlantas finally destroyed the spiral confederacy.
After the fall of spiral confederacy, the resistance decided establish a government of their own to rule Isora, however, the group was torn apart due to the differences in the type of government they want to establish. Oceanus and Hyperion wanted a Democratic government while Eurydice, Arphodite and Atlantas wanted to apply the same control to Isora as the Spiral Confederacy once did. After a bloody inner struggle, Oceanus was assassinated and Hyperion was expelled from Isora. Eurydice and Atlantas established what we known today as the Spiral Order.
The second Isoran civil war broke out soon after Eurydice and Atlantas died of old age. The revolution is started by the raging masses who are sick and tired of the Spiral Order's capitalistic rule. The revolution is crushed by the spiral order, but not without suffering a great blow. The entire planet is left in ashes and the head of the Spiral Order are all dead. Admiral Ozlo, the last high ranking officer of the Spiral Order, seeing that Isora is dying. Deceided to order what is left of the Isoran orbital fleet to the Morai home planet of Ruia, the goal is to extract the energy core of the Morai planet to restore Isora to her former glory.
The attack on Morai home planet leads to the Morai war, the Isoran orbital fleet invaded the planet's atmosphere in an attempt to save Isora from destruction. The war resulted in the defeat of the Sprial order as their entire fleet is destroyed by the Morai planetry defence. The only ship that manages to survive the war is Skylark. Ozlo, now lost everything he had in an gamble to win back Isora, is left with no choice but to go to Cradle, to seek refugee, but his hope is dashed, when a beam of purple laster shot skylark down...
The spiral order did their best to cover up the history, but I know the truth, not every story has a good beginning, it is up to you to deceide what kind of ending you want to get.

The dev team hasn't given us any information on what the Morai look like, or their motives for taking Isora.
