Do Redwoods no longer inflict Fire or have I just been insanely lucky?

Been going through a Depth 28 Arena and I noticed something with the Redwoods; they have yet to inflict fire on me. Curious, I tried it again standing there and despite having Fire weakness, I never was ignited. This was also tested not once but fourteen times.

Now, this may seem strange for a normal enemy but the Lumber series on elite difficulty always inflict both statuses. Hence why Silversaps are such scary things to encounter alone.

So my question is, has anyone else noticed this or am I just super-insanely lucky?

You may have got lucky

You may have got lucky there.

Once, while I was at the core in the AC set, I was trying to burn myself w/ the fov for 2 like minutes, and nothinhg. 20 charges in a row, with the fire weakness, and no spontanius combustion...

Bumping this for the sake of someone else I know just said that Redwoods aren't inflicting Fire either.

Pretty sure they're bugged.

They're bugged, I submit a bug report like 2 months ago regarding this (like that'll do anything). Not why can't Silversaps be bugged rather than Redwoods?

I said that to you Glacies .-.

Why can't everything be bugged like the Redwoods?

I intentionally let myself

I intentionally let myself get hit a few times earlier to test this and whoops, I could've just waited for Brother-Zeke to respond, hahaha. (Confirmation, I was not ignited either time and I was wearing Chaos.)

Yep.

I did a run through of the exact same arena with Sandwich-Potato (the guy who informed you about this no doubt), and we experienced the exact same thing.
