Also, Absolutely nobody has any idea that I had a female character in mind, Before I even played SK.

It's kind of amazing to see where these names come from. Whether you realize it or not, the names you choose have large psychological insights into yourself. Give it some thought and you'll be surprised at what you learn about who you are, from just the usernames you've chosen, past and present ;)

I have several usernames...let's see if I could recall most of them...

swiftstryker - When I had played a few FPS games with my cousin, I often was stuck with this horrible gun named the Stryker. It wasn't bad at shooting, but reloading was as long as sin. Henceforth, I've created this username on a few games. Apparently, it wasn't all that original, since there's a WoW player going along the same name.

Antworker - When I first began gaming independently of recommendations from friends and family, I often went onto Kongregate, and the mascot of that site was a couple of ants. Antworker was the name borne of that era.

Vinnydime - Cousin's name divided into two words. He first used it on his FB, then on this site. Tossed his account to me.

Feline-Grenadier - After making a few fanficts and RPing a little bit, using the name Felicity for my characters was a common occurrence. I often depicted her as a not-so-feminine character with more than a few feline tendencies, hence the name.

Vedrisca - Name of one of my OCs I was planning to write a short series on, but it never got picked up. This one I'm super picky about, since it is an ORIGINAL name that no one else has used before. I'll be a very angry camper if I find that someone made this name theirs.

I have only a few names for video games.

1) The first is the one displayed, Raigaizam. Well, I got this name when I was stumped for a Spiral Knight's name. Then I thought,"Spiral Knight=Robot?". I went online and found a robot name generator. I tried for about 15 minutes, until I found a name than didn't start with a Q or an N. This has been a great name ever since.

2) Lance(Of the Storm, usually): The backstory on the character Lance is simple. I was playing Mount & Blade: Warband one day when I got bored and started looking for mods. The first mod I found was "A Clash of Kings". Sound familiar? Game of Thrones? Oh, well. Nvm. So I installed this mod and applied it to M&B:W. When I created a character, I thought to myself,"1) What is my favorite thing to do in games? Impale people. 2) What is my favorite attribute? Storm." So, Lance for impaling people, and Of The Storm for my favorite elemental attribute. Lance of the Storm.

3) PfcGhost: When I was addicted to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon series, this was my name. Simple, right?

Because I'm good at kicking large portions of @#$ in the game and I enjoy doing it and typing /shout (enter exciting situational expressive word here) in missions.

Before name change:

Atgatg- At the time of 8 years old, I had discovered the internet by playing a game called "Club Penguin." I had pondered what to name myself before deciding to use my initials, and my age. "A t g 8" When I played spiral knights, I found out you could not use numbers. So I simply doubled it. Atgatg.

Valorai- Hoping to break away from the unimaginative name from my youth, I used the name change pass. I was stuck finding a name. I loved science, so I went online and looked up terms often associated with the subject. Nothing. Then I thought of characteristics of what we were. Knights. You obviously need strength, wisdom, courage. I like the thought of courage, but it was too sought after. I doubted I'd be able to use it much, if ever. I went to a synonym, "Valor." I loved it, but Valor was taken.
So I played around with vowels.
Valore, Valori, Valure, Valoara. Nothing worked. Then I thought of "Valorai" It was certainly a unique name, and it reminded me of a title. I used it.

Cinoa: My brother made this name for me when I was little, and has stuck with me ever since.
For some reason, I like this name a lot :/

Nightmare (eNeMeE in the English dub of the anime) is a wicked final boss character and major character in the Kirby series, despite only making three major appearances in the games. His goal is to spread dark nightmares and influences throughout the galaxy, and uses his cunning wit to accomplish the feat.

Yes I am a big Kirby fan, but I am an even bigger fan of good villains.

Fun fact: My first ACCT name was "Fractalis" a combination of a term for an infinitly complex mathematically based image and a term for chemical deconstruction. Fractal + Lysis

I was really into drawing comics (...during class?) throughout school.

I came up with certain characters for different storylines, so whenever I played online games, I've tried to create at least one of them in-game and try to develop that character in-game as a feedback loop of inspiration, in terms of clothes, gear, or other things.

Seiran was a 2h-swordsman. Possibly could have had some gravity/psychokinetic related power.
Obviously, when I saw the hatchet sword, I put aside the proto sword and went straight for it. Troika became my first crafted sword, and I used all my energy to make it 4* before upgrading anything else (of course, long before the mission system and its gates). I eventually moved onto DA/GF as specialized and 5* heavy swords, but you can imagine how happy I was when I discovered the graviton/electron bomb lines. It was perfect.

Fun note, in one of my classes, we learned C programming by learning to use it to interact with a Gameboy Advance (we'd run them via emulator)... essentially making game demos as our final project. I got to create a sort of 'realization' of Seiran and that world in that game. I've been wanting to remake it for the longest time (because really, asking people to download a GBA emulator and map their keys in certain ways is too much effort for most people), but I can never decide how I'd remake it (Flash? Unity? Java?) :P

Tenki was an earlier character (like, middle school), probably strongly influenced by DBZ- so he's generally been the high-agility character with some spare use of energy-stuff. It's also been my name of choice, unless already taken (and it was, which is why I made Seiran instead lol). At some point, I picked up guns, and transitioned from using some of the slowest weapons in the game to being one of the fastest and technical gunslingers in SK. I won two name-change passes from the New Years event, so I eventually pulled off the name change as Tenkii (grr) to match the playstyle.

..and use it as an excuse to leave my dead guild and delete people from my friend's list.

So, my list of usernames:

The first online game I ever played was runescape - me and my cousin were quite young and I didn't know what to have as my username, so he suggested "hman101". This was taken, and the registering form suggested "hman326" instead. Took the name and used it for things in quite a while. If things require a number then I'll still usually use 326.

Next came Xbox Live - my friends at school all played halo reach on the Xbox 360, and naturally I wanted to join in on the fun. They were all part of their own 'clan', I believe it was calle CrYst4l, and I loved dragons, so my Xbox live name because CrYst4L DraGoN. Gotta love those random capitals.
Other names I went through before finalizing on Crystal Dragon were CrYst4l Oxide and CrYst4l Cle4r. Super great I know. /sigh

Next up - minecraft. Again, I loved dragons, and because it was minecraft, wanted the name to sound like an ore. Thus, Dragonitium was created (Dragonite and Dragonitum were both taken of course). This is the username I still mostly use to this day.

In spiral knights, my first knight was called Dragonitium, and never got past 3*. When I started playing the game again I needed a new name - Taking the 'Dra' of dragon and combining it with 'Chronos' from time-related things, I created the name you now see on my profile.

Another name I've used on characters is Drischa. I can't remember where I came up with it but I like it. Might even change my Knight's name to it.

Oh, I also created a pure-bomber knight called Nitronomical. Because as Zeddy so rightly said: "Nitronome = the only weapon you'll ever need"

I was creating my Knight and needed to choose a nickname. So... I inverted words!
I picked up "Start" and it became Trats
I picked up "Armor" and it became Romra
Put both together and made my nickname: Trats-Romra

This can sound a bit random, but I really liked of this IGN. It sounds good to me.
