Should I switch to Brandishes?

I've always been a Calibur guy.

I've devoted time and money into making the Ascended Calibur and wondered if this was really the right choice, If I should make the Levi...

I have heard that the Brandishes are better, but stayed away from them because the Elemental damage was bad against Beasts and Gremlins.

I have the energy to switch to the Iceburst Brandish. Should I do so?

Out of curiosity, although I've spent at least $600+ (and still raising) in this game, I'd love to know what you guys spent on here!

I am unable to help the economy though, as that will be You, the people of Spiral Knights responsibility as I have never used the trade system from CE>Crowns/Vice Versa.

I finally heard the new slime floor music, I knew I would eventually as I tend to do the Prestige missions. Congrats OOO on yet another wonderful piece of music. I like it a lot.

Volunteer Outfitters with a Blazebreak Helm and a Volcanic Salamander Suit?

Bein' a poor boy who needs no sympathy, I am UNABLE to conjure the money to gain a Volcanic Salamander suit very quickly, meanin' that I am in NEED of someone who possesses it to put on a Blazebreak Helm and show me how the combo looks together.

I know some of you may be wondering "Why not Spiral Spy?" Because Spiral Spy is weird and will not lemme recolor proto helmets, which is what the Blaze Break Helm is.

To anyone willin' to help a man, lend me your hand! And a picture would be nice, too.
