I tried logging in to my steam spiral knights account but instead of logging in I got an alert that said "we experienced a problem authenticating with steam. please insure that your steam client is running and that you are not logged in elsewhere". what does this mean and what do I do?

Yesterday I decided to start playing spiral knights again so I started playing when I noticed that all item icons seemed to be blurry

I just got back from vacation, so I decided to boot up my computer, and play some SK.

I open up Steam, open Spiral Knights, try to log on, and this pops up.

Failed to Connect to the Server.

Help?

Alrighty, so basically my keyboard isn't working right with the game. I can type words in the main area and chat and for the most part it works (though some of the letters I type don't show up). However, when I go to actually play the game, the keyboard barely functions properly. Sometimes, the keys will work a little and my character will move (shield, dash, etc.) but mostly, nothing at all will happen. And if I can't use the keyboard, I can't play cuz the mouse just doesn't have enough buttons :p So I'm really hoping that someone can help me resolve this.

Video card: I have Nvidia Optimus. My integrated card is Intel HD Graphics 3000. My dedicated is Nvidia GeForce 555m.

I play Spiral Knights on Steam and have been having this issue for a very long time (I've just recently wanted to get back into SK, so I'm trying to solve it now).

It happens on a daily basis where I go into a limbo. Nothing moves everything lags. Is my client corrupted or do I just disconnect. May I also add when I reboot the game it still doesn't work. For example when I head into a level of some sort I have this black screen. Any help is appreciated.

Will this might be my fault to start with.....however i still wanna ask for an answer
i wanted to re download the game through steam so i searched for an uninstaller knowing that i orginaly downloaded the game from spiralknight.com
so i didn't find an uninstaller so i searched in the forums and found there is no installer (or at least that's what i read) so i manually typed spiral knights on the search bar in windows explorer (kinda dum from me i know) and manualy deleted the files so up till there everything went fine or at least i thought so

I have a feeling that this is a common problem,asked some other people in game and they told me they also suffer from lags in tier 2 runs,sometimes less and sometime more. I play tier 1 smoothly and never lag. But on tier 2 it's a different story. I'm doing tier 2 missions right now and sometimes I can get through them but sometimes the lag is just crazy,I derp all over the place,blocks take a long time to break after hit,charge attacks with my blazebrand are impossible to execute correctly etc..

On one of the spiral knights knight elite missions, the devilite city one and the candlestick keep. In one of the parts, the devilites are throwing chairs and stuff as usual, and my party is like, mostly dead. (As usual.) And then I see a projectile enveloped in a rectangle just the right amount around the chair. Can you fix this? (I suspect the projectile was actually a picture when the gamemakers put it in, so that's why there is a rectangle around that projectile.)
