Just what the title says. Whenever I go to try to install the game (i.e. when I click the play or play now button), a white square shows up near the top left corner of the screen, but nothing else happens as it won't respond after that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I run on a Windows 7 computer (I believe it's 7, I forget the exact number though so I apologize for that).

Since the guild hall update, myself and a few other players have been experiencing both or the latter:

- Spiral Knights terminating itself instantly
I personally noticed this happening occasionally in months prior to the update, but it is particularly frequent now. It commonly occurs when alt-tabbing, particularly during loading periods, and may sometimes happen without any suggestive triggers.

- The game, particularly after a crash of the above, will cease to load properly upon logging in, never reaching the character select or loading the level

My client appears to stick at the "Performing Login, please wait" screen. I've waited for an unreasonably (5 minutes) long time to log in, and while my other clients work, this one in particular is still not working.
This problem is persisting still; I had this problem several months ago and it still has not been resolved.
Could a Game Master look into the status of Arctifice and determine if there is something that should be fixed?

let me start by saying i meet all the requirements to a T. The problem is that when i start spiral knights, it just hangs. The screen does not even appear.
Somebody please help!!!

I was playing SK normally and after playing, I decided to update my Macbook Pro to 10.7.5. Once I updated, when i try to launch SK from steam, the sign just pops up and disappears. I redownloaded steam and SK a few times, switching java from 6 to 7 and back to 6 but those didnt work. So I downloaded SK(not in steam) and try to log in using my steam account through the 'facebook' login thingy but it took forever to enter. Someone help? I really wanna play SK :3

I noticed that the lag and latency increased very much last months , I remember that I had a less speed of internet before ( Around November 2011 ) and still I didn't have this amount of disconnections and high ping. I am aware that GH update increased the amount of players which increases the lag , but come on , is there is no way to have a good experience in this game ;_; ?

I'm just playing Spiral Knights and out of nowhere, I get some huge aggressive randomly. I'm not downloading or uploading or etc. and still have this lag. Is it the server or is it just me because our internet here is pretty good here and shouldn't be having this kind of lag.

I can not open the game (steam account)
the game just starts and closes in seconds, he start and closes, leaving only the process of java open. I have two accounts and on my second account (no steam) do not have any problem. Someone help me, I have pass and I can not use (just started getting well after the last reboot)

I lost connection to steam while i was waiting for it to finish updating. It stopped the download and now it doesn't want to continue downloading. Says i need to visit somewhere, but the site doesn't appear in the box. Please help
