I am sick and tired of this issue and at one point long story short was "angsty" to a very bad degree and was hoping to turn to my favorite game as it was the only thing that actually appealed to me and lock down to sort of get some of my stress out.

i have been playing this game since April, I recently switched to a backup computer and the following happened:

Downloaded SK local client ( non-steam non-browser), installed, ran fine for 2 days then for no reason I can find:

Launch from desktop icon, Black screen, return to desk top.

Consistent.

I followed the instructions in post: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/48

Updated vid drivers, java, de-installed and reinstalled the game.

Did the regedit option, now it does black screen in a small window, then return to desktop

Consistent.

I've been trying to log into the game for almost 2 hours (off and on) and keep receiving this message. None of my settings have changed on my computer since last night (last time I played) and I cannot log in tonight. Anyone else receiving this?

I started playing Spiral Knights via the website launcher. I started a thread on the forums to showcase my art. Then I linked to my Steam account a few weeks ago. After the forum update last week, my two accounts should have been considered one on the forums correct, since they are considered one when I am playing the game? When I use the "sign in with Steam" my account name is now "steam76561198047846396." But I can still sign in as my old SK account "jlewis413." When signing in as my old SK account, it says that my account has no knights on it, so i cannot use the Identity Knight feature.

Hi, I played SK for a few months now and I'm connected to Steam.

I reported this problem before but it still has not been fixed and I wanted to know if others had similar problems.
Basically, for half a day, I just can't play SK. Whenever I:

1) Join a friend or guildy's party, it gets stuck at black screen. or loading screen at 0%.
2) Going from D23 to D24 vanaduke tower, gets stuck at black screen.
3) Trying to log in, gets stuck at "Entering Haven"

The applet starts, does validation then does download at which point I get a message saying "Getdown's applet was told to stop working"

Does this have something to do with Oracle breaking Java Web Start?

Can anyone else install on a fresh computer from the website?

OK, before you ask:

I have fully updated java, steam, spiral knights etc. I've used steam to verify the integrity of the game files, and I've searched the forum and the internet for solutions. I've found none. I'm using Windows 7 x64. When I run the game, if the Steam Overlay is enabled it crashes and windows says it's stopped working and gives the following information:

Hi all, when i try enter in the Bazaar forum, i am redirected to forum home page...i can enter in all forum but not in the bazaar...why? can some one explain me that problem?!?

My Computer Specs are as follows.
4 GBs of Ram
2.5 GHz Dual Core
ATI HD Radeon 5570
Also Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Not sure if anything else affects this.

I have a Steam account with about 200 games and none of those lags or spike as much as this game and I could really use some advice.

About three days ago, I tried to log in and was greeted with this message:

"Either there is a temporory outage or the server is not yet fully operational. Please wait a moment before reconnecting."

I tried the suggested method of a clean install, and I was playing again. But today I tried everything and couldn't get to the character select screen. Any help is appreciated.
