I've never actually been able to play this game yet; my friends started playing it, and I've wanted to join, but nothing I've tried has worked. The only thing that has happened is when the game starts up, it shows a black screen. The cursor sometimes changes to what I assume is the cursor in-game (chrome-ish blue), but the screen remains black. If I click within that window, it says it isn't responding anymore. I've tried waiting for something to happen, but nothing ever has.

OS: Windows XP
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3800+ (2.4 GHz)
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT
1 GB of RAM

Hi, I have a Hp Pavilion dv6t-6000. It has switchable graphics with the integrated Intel graphics and a Radeon HD 6770m. When I try to run the game, I get a message saying it is unable to initialize the graphics display. I figured it was probably using the Intel graphics instead of the ATI card, but the only executables I could find in the Spiral Knights folder were java.exe and javaw.exe. Setting these two to use the Radeon did not fix the problem.

Any help is appreciated!

I've reinstalled the game 5 times, but I have the same issue: the client putters and freezes every time there is a large collection of monsters on the screen.

I can load the internet just fine. It's not my graphics card because previously I can run the game just fine

I'm using an Nvidia too

I'm in from of transmuting machine i've got enegry, corwns and every item required yet, the transmute button does not light up.

I am having a problem that is quite hard to explain. Whenever i run the game, i either get a black screen, or it crashes, or i see the main screen for a split second, and it goes back to a black screen :(
But, if i press ESC, i can see the menu, but i can't quite read it either...

Does anyone know what my problem is and why i can't see the text?

Hello this is grasshoppeh and i am having trouble purchasing 3500 crystals,

-i have the money ready on my stream account
-i went in game and tryed to purchace 3500 for $10

the program gets stuck on the authorizing via stream part...

Every time I launch Spiral Knights from steam it constantly opens the game. It starts running about 5 or 6 instances of the game at once, and lags out everything on the computer, forcing me to restart the computer.

Are there any solutions to this problem?

I have all the minimum requirements and still seem to be lagging so much that the game becomes unplayable. It happens once every 15-30 minutes and they last 3-5. Note: I do not have anything else open (Firefox, Photoshop...) I also have the latest version of Java and updated my driver 2 days ago.

RAM: 6144MB
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Does anyone have any ideas why I am having these random lag spikes?

So after inviting all my friends from steam I still haven't recieved the steam Gas mask still! I have over 20 friends and sent invites on mass to each one. I see them playing and even received mist tanks so I know I am working right so what the heck is going on?
If there is a way to check and see how many invites were accepted rather than friends downloading and installing and ignoreing my invites that would be fantastic. Help please and help me get my new helm.
