I've seen a few threads in the past mention that players with newer-series Radeon cards have been experiencing a lot of graphical issues - things like repeating textures on pickups and broken particle effects from lights. Like this or this. I've been having these issues myself over the last few months, on my fairly new Radeon R9 270x card.

Hey, I used to play Spiral knights a lot in the past and eventually got pretty far (4 star gear, 5 star weapons) and decided to start back up when I heard it's all on steam now. I was wondering if there was a way to transfer my kong account to my steam.

my first time using the forums so here goes nothing. I've noticed that something is wrong when I log on, I can't see the news you're supposed to get when you're in the ready room also the font of the letters have changed. I don't mind the last one that much but I do want to get the news back. Can anyone help me, I've already uninstalled spiral knights once and downloaded it again but nothing changed. Help me out if you know what the problem is >.<

If i open SK, this error will come out before i even log in to the website automaticly!

And then, if i didnt get the 408 problem, the game will just freeze endlessly!

Please SOS cuz i havent played SK this day and i Needz to play it everyday for goodness!

P.S - Im playing this in Kongregate.com

im trying to get spiral knights to work on an arabic toshiba laptop, but after i downloaded the game it simply wont open. I ran a diagnostic on it and it said Javaw, it has that w, is not compatible. So i downloaded a new java but it still refuses to pop up.

please help me

Basacly i have started playing this awesome game agin and when i came in basacly when i scroll with the mouse wheel with my characyer the images are relly blurry tho all the bushes and stuff around me are pretty good looking the images are relly bad and when there is a tip on my screen or something basacly the tips all like letters are relly freaking blurry PLEASE HELP !!!! (I dont have the STRONGEST PC!)

It has been a while since I've played and recently got back into SK. Anyway the issue is that when I connect to SK it runs just fine I can play etc etc and my roommate connects we both get kicked out of the game. Everything freezes and then after 2 mins I am kicked back out to the login screen and vice versa with him if hes already connected he plays just fine then I try joining it doesn't even login in and he gets kicked, this used to not happen. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

So, in previous years I have heard that even the top end of computers struggled to run SK too smoothly with all the bells and whistles on, because it is a java game and is badly optimised.

So if one were to build a computer, and didn't want to be let down by their performance in SK, what kind of processor would you need?

-AMD have the lower performance, more cores, but seeing how the game runs on few threads, would the AMD be disappointing when running this game?
-Intel being more expensive, with higher performance and less cores (for the price), I'd assume would be good for SK.

Okay, something weird is happening to me right now. Out of the blue, I'm unable to gain entry to the clockworks. Whenever I try to enter, I wind up with a black screen - the loading screen never shows up. This started about 20 minutes ago from when I am posting this. Anyone have any suggestions to fix this? I really need to get back to Crimsonite running.
