Yes, I know this is better suited for the Steam forums. The problem with that is that it requires another set of usernames and passwords and I have not even set up my Steam profile yet, much less gotten used to some of its finer points.

This has been a problem plaguing me from only one computer, a laptop. I try to login to Steam and get the following error message:

Steam - Error
Could not connect to Steam network.
This could be due to a problem with your internet connection, or with the Steam network. Please visit www.steampowered.com for more info.

It won't let him. He's Dmc-Master, and his knight has the same name. It won't let him log in. This happened to him twice actually...

If you have any advice, lemme know. I don't want him to give up on the game.

How do I migrate my account to Steam? (posted here because, technically, it is the technical side of the game)

Ever since I've put this game on Steam it's had multiple issues, i've turned off the overlay and that didn't do anything, i've uninstalled and re-installed, still nothing. The game randomly crashes without warning, random text appears in places it should not, pictures get mixed up with other pictures in places they shouldn't be, I don't know what is going on.. I have a windows 8 laptop that was basically made for gaming, i'm starting to think maybe it has something to do with Windows 8?

It's completely random when it happens. It might happen two hours after i start playing or just half an hour. I've already tried updating my video driver, playing through the website instead of steam, and enabling compatibility mode in advanced graphics settings but my computer still crashes. It runs perfectly up until it happens by the way. I'm positive that it's not overheating since my computer's fan stays pretty quiet the whole time I'm playing. I also have the latest version of Java. This has been happening for months and is till don't know what the issue is. Whenever I enable Steam Overlay for SK, I can only get to the log-in screen for a few seconds before I crash with no warning or error. Because of this, I'm not able to buy CE nor take any pictures in-game. I'm able to play when I disable it, but otherwise I can't. Is there any solution to this?

I cant see any creature i can make out the landscape and the characters are clipping throught the screen anyone have the same problem or what?

what with all the lag (spikes every few seconds or the game just dragging me around making my movement/actions erratic and useless) i've been suffering i've been looking around the forums here and far as i can tell, said lag issues are by far nothing new at all. that said, i also have another issue, see title.

Ever since i logged in as a guest, I can't log into my actual account because whenever I open SK, it automatically logs me into guest.

I was in the middle of a FSC run placing down a statue (if it matters), with my screen was suddenly filled with vertical alternating black and yellow stripes. My computer was working fine (HDD activity was normal), but I couldn't Alt+F4, Alt + Tab, Ctrl + Alt + Del, or anything. Restarted my computer and tried running SK again, and same thing happened when I got to title screen - blue and black stripes. I restarted again and left Task Manager open while SK was starting, and I caught a Windows Alert: "The graphics driver crashed, and recovered".
