Sometime late last night, the patch problem (extremely SLOW update download in upwards of several hours for what should have been only a couple of minutes) appears to have been resolved. Not sure if this will happen again with future updates.

I wonder if we'll get any explanation from the devs as to the cause of the 'hiccup'.

I, personally use linux.... for certain privacy reasons. The game was running fine till one day the update lag (most users know that update,) till my laptop crashed..... and everything in it "broke" i had to re-install everything..... but the main site's download link doesn't work fro linux so i use Konsole (a linux program) to install it.... but recently Konsole's SK pakage code broke and personally i don't know much aoubt code fixing.

so i would like to ask the Devs to make the main site's download link compatible with linux.

Happens to me too,

1st time, it also stuck at 97%
2nd time, it stuck at 90%
3 time, stuck in 0%
4 time stuck in 90& again
5 time stuck in 56&
etc
etc
etc
Over like a hour past 100% and wiiiiiii i can play.

Soo just tried to install over and over until the game install.

The new update for the Party Finder is not updating. I have Uninstalled the game and re-installed the game through steam twice now and still the same problem. I have been playing the game for a long time now so I know my laptop meets minimum requirements.

The updater says; "The application has failed to launch due to the following error: download.threering.net
Please visit http:wiki.spiralknights.com/Technical_issues_FAQ for information on how to handle such problems"

I really hope this problem is fixed soon i love this game that a problem like this breaks my heart );

my client is trying to download the patch of June 19,2012 , but for some reason, the update stops at 97% and then the estimated time of completion just kept rising. I tried to patch it several times without success. please help D:

In Kong, every time there is a new patch, the download hits approx. 71% and then the approx time goes up and up and up until it is in the 1000's of hrs. It takes about 2 hrs to download, and MANY MANY MANY other kongregate players report the same problem. Please fix this.

I recently bought the Battle Pack (9,500 CE), and now it is gone. I hope that it will not be gone forever, because I would like to make future purchases of the same amount. Is there any way to get this pack back?

EDIT: I mean that on the menu where you select the pack you want to purchase, it does not show up.

when i went to go on today i noticed that it was updating so i went to the forums to see what it was i then went to general discussion to see what people said about it. when i went back to the updater it had stopped around 70% (74 to be exact)in downloading data and the time was counting up by around 30 minutes every 5 seconds (with a few prolonged stops)and then i stopped when it got to 27 minutes. i checked to see if the down time was done and it was. so i tried again and the results were the same except it stopped at 71% this time.

When I went to play Spiral Knights I launched the game with steam. This time the "login with steam" option was gone. I now cant access my steam Spiral Knight. Please help because I have seen many other people with this problem.
