Don't buy/craft this sword. It is horrible.

So, two questions about this set.

1. Does it in fact have bonus damage against fiends?

The wiki states it does on the veil, but doesn't have that information on the mantle.

2. Volcanic Plate Shield. Everyone always tells me it's the best shield to get.

However, it gives fire resistance. Wouldn't this set already give me maximum fire resistance, making the shield's fire resistance useless?

NOTE: The theme of this thread has changed drastically since the first post. I would suggest reading through the entire thread so far so that you know what's going on. TL;DR version: starts off with an MMO tank mindset, changes mind with help of forumgoers, becomes better player, and is still learning how to be a better player so you should totally help him.

I know this should probably be common sense, or possibly on the wiki (I looked though, so be easy on me), but are bosses subject to damage UV's?

Is Snarbolax affected by bonus damage against beasts?
Is Royal Jelly affected by bonus damage against slimes?
Is Vanaduke affected by bonus damage against undead?

Between Valiance and Antigua type guns, which gun's bullet speeds are faster?

what would be better in your opinion:
a Calibur with CTR: Medium or ASI: Medium?

i dont know how much a single point of UV from both is worth.

is a point of CTR -0.25 seconds or 0.5 seconds or something else? i hear both so yeah.. :S

as for attack speed increase i heard its 4% every point? cant say for sure that im recalling things right.

I've used solely heavy swords for a while now and thought I'd go spread some tricks that I came across along the way. Some of these are probably familiar for people who've used them for a while, but some (like the triple slash!) I've just found personally, and I'm loving it :D

Some things can be confusing, so here's a quick vocab list:
Slash1 : Your first slash (quicker, low knockback)
Slash2 : Your "second slash" (spins around, high knockback/range, has greater range than slash1.

Hey, im currently in a dilemma, i scored a UV very high dmg against slime. now im wondering whether to convert it into a nightblade for extra slime power or should i convert it to a firebrandish instead?

ok so i followed the guide to linking my steam account and my sk log in, but i have not received my steam mask.... was this meant for players that started from steam or what?
