Hi everyone. I really want to get all 5 star weapons, guns, bombs, etc. but I looked on the wiki and there are like a bajillion 5 star wepons, armors, helmets, etc. so I don't actually think it worth it anymore. I want to get the best though so can anyone tell me the top 5 equipment for each category that are 5 star? Personally, I have started the calibur and cutter line for swords, the autogun line for guns, the cobalt set for armor and helms, and the defender line for shields.

I'm looking at this elemental line of sword upgrades from the flourish. Now, I've become rather heart broken that such an awesome sword doesn't work against the most common enemies in the game, but something about a fire version that tickles me. I'm also in Salamander armor so it feels somehow.. appropriate that I would set people on fire as well.

Yet my innate sense of BS is telling me this wouldn't be a good idea.

Thoughts?

Hi everyone. Just wanted to ask which is better: The Vitasuit Deluxe or Azure Guardian Armor. Me and my brother are having a spat on which one to get. Please help us settle our argument.

been theorycrafting a bit about armor. This is aimed at general tier three use, in tier two and lower you can just wear whatever you want or load up on normal defense

my general loadout right now is flourish, cryo gun, shivermist, shadow gun. Not exactly dependent on swords and IAS isn't a big deal for the flourish anyway so vog's bonus is kind of irrelevant. I think the best general defense would use both armor slots to get one of each type - normal, elemental, piercing, and shadow

So, I've been playing this game for a couple of days and I must say that I absolutely love it! So far I have played 14 hours in 2 days. :)
Well, as everyone who played for more than an hour knows, equipment is vital to last even a second in this game, but as I am new I do not know about most of the equipment and as such I do not know what I should get four tier 4*.

Here is what I currently have in each slot and what I intend to do with them unless better advice is given;

Weapon(s) - Ascended Calibur

I am close to getting 25 jelly tokens, in which I can get a sealed sword, or an antigua. I already have a silent nightblade, which I think can rule out faust as I like this. I like my silent nightblade a lot and plan making it into an acheron. Now I was thinking, I should get another sword with elemental damage. should I get the sealed sword and make it into a DA? Or perhaps a Iceburst/ Fireburst brandish sword line?

Is a Dragon Scale Shield worth it? It seems like it'd go well with the Vog Gear I am trying to collect. Thoughts?

I was leaning toward getting the Faust (and I even bought the recipe) but then I realized that the Avenger is probably much better in FSC. Is the faust gimped in T3 or FSC or are they pretty comparable?

I've recently joined the game and I loved, so I bought the starter pack do give me a leg-up. VERY useful to have all that extra energy.

Now, I'm looking to upgrade my weapons, do you have any recommendations? Here is my current equipment:

Helmet = Fused Demo Helm (3*)
Armour = Fused Demo Suit (3*)
Shield = Defender (2*)
Sword = Calibur (2*)
Sword = Thwack Hammer (1*)
Bomb = Static Flash (1*)
Bomb = Fiery Vaporizer (2*)
